CANBERRA GRAMMAR SCHOOL'S SNOW CONCERT HALL TRIUMPHS AT ARCHITECTURAL AWARDS
Centre of Music and Snow Concert Hall garnered multiple accolades at this year's ACT Architecture Awards, including the distinguished Enrico Taglietti Award for Educational Architecture. Hailed for innovative design, the project also earned commendations in Interiors and Heritage Architecture.

The Jury's input on the design and architecture stated that “The new Canberra Grammar Music Centre and Snow Concert Hall has created an experiential nexus that will infuse a generation of students with lifelong memories and a richer connection to the school ethos.”

Last Friday, Voces8 lavished our audience with an unforgettable performance at Snow Concert Hall. The evening began with Orlando Gibbons’ 'O Clap Your Hands', followed by Runestad's 'Let My Love Be Heard', the hauntingly beautiful 'And the Swallow' by Shaw, and a mesmerising rendition of 'The Lark Ascending' by Ralph Vaughan Williams. These exquisite and mellifluous arrangements were made even more poignant by on violin, adding a deeply expressive and emotive 'ninth voice' to the performance. It was a night of musical artistry, precision and skill, both beautiful and breathtaking!
