The Abbey, located at Canberra’s iconic Federation Square, Gold Creek, first opened its doors on 23 May 1995. Home to the ‘Roslyn Organ’, this is one of the world’s finest carved masterpieces. Made of oak timbers from shipwrecks and manor houses, this unique piece highlights the venues history. Janet Jeffs, Ginger Catering’s Executive Chef and Director is widely known as an innovative chef who is also a passionate advocate for a fair and sustainable food economy. In Canberra she has created a network of local farmers who share her dedication to good food, ensuring her kitchens a consistent supply of the finest seasonal produce.
