I have been sewing and 'playing' with many forms of textile arts all my life and I have studied textile design (craft arts) at University of NSW. When creating a design I draw on these experiences to produce a unique costume that compliments the dancer and choreography.

This beautiful dancer had a clear design in mind for her tutu, which I hoped I could achieve. Of course I was unable to find the perfect lace so I painted white lace and added crystals. I also custom dyed net to match the bodice for a couple of layers in the skirt. I’m so happy with the result!
