Kaliopi
Kaliopi is no stranger to the Australian music scene! Named one of What So Not’s Top 5 local Australian acts for 2024, she is renowned for her unique style and infectious energy. Kaliopi frequently performs at venues all over Sydney and Canberra, including Chinese Laundry, Fiction Club and Home the Venue. Her mixes revolve around music that makes you want to dance, featuring a seamless blend of bass-heavy genres such as dubstep, trap, drum & bass and midtempo.
Kaliopi has supported local and international artists, including Marauda, Subtronics, Blanke, Sippy, Kanine, Delta Heavy, PhaseOne, Kayzo, What So Not and many more! Kaliopi has extended her shows to interstate gigs and festivals, including the iconic Splendour in the Grass.
Entrusted with training the next generation of artists with the international DJ competition Your Shot, she is highly regarded for her creative and technicalskills behind the decks. WAXLILY
As a DJ, performer and party curator, Waxlily creates a playful, cheeky and genuine connection with her audience through her own flavour of dance music. Describing her style as emanating ‘sparkly
energy’, she has the ability to effortlessly genre hop; drawing upon dub, house, electro, garage, techno, breaks and each of their subgenres, mixing vintage grooves with sassy new sounds.
Waxlily’s very own party, Lolly Bag, has become a darling of the Eora community–a Clubber's Safe Haven that brings wellbeing, celebration and freedom to the forefront of partying.
She has also featured on notable line ups and platforms like Subsonic, Lost Paradise, Spilt Milk, Field Day, Novel (Naarm) and triple j's Mix Up, as well as parties across Stockholm. She has supported artists like CC:DISCO!, DJ Boring, Gerd Janson, Ben Klock and Sleep D, just to pull a few names from the hat.
