What an awesome day for Mr & Mrs Potts on Monday. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this couple over a year ago and together we have journeyed to their wedding day. How happy they were to start their married life and I was lucky enough to be not only their Celebrant but also their Emcee. Congratulations to Siam & Alex for a lifetime of happiness. A winter wedding in Canberra today with the sun shining and family and friends excited to see Simon & Aimee tie the knot. Having come all the way from Canada to be married with Simon’s family present was a very special occasion and there were smiles all round. It was my pleasure to pronounce them husband and wife and to get a photo taken with them ‘Just Married by Roger’.

After a week of rain and cool weather yesterday afternoon turned out to be perfect for these two beautiful humans to get married. It was my absolute pleasure to be able to pronounce them husband & wife before their family and friends. The radiant bride arrived to greet her very nervous groom and then we had a bit of fun with the guests making some promises to them. 27 April 2024 - Tayla & Mitchell - surrounded by their nearest and dearest this awesome couple committed to each other today. There were loads of nerves and a few tears, plenty of laughter and a huge sprinkling of love. One of the highlights was the fact that they had two of their grandmothers sign as witnesses, so special and so beautiful. Chan & Dale - 6.4.24 - what a great way to celebrate a Saturday afternoon, the sun came out, family and friends were there to celebrate and Chan & Dale were married on their Anniversary. There were a few tears but plenty of fun with these two who said ‘I do’ in front of their beautiful children and guests. What a joy it was to present the newest married couple in Australia. Shenal & Kayleigh 28.3.24 - A perfect location, a perfect day, an amazing couple and a huge night of celebrating. Yesterday I was lucky enough to be part of S&K’s big day as their Celebrant & MC for their reception. A traditional Sri Lankan wedding ceremony started the day off with a beautiful tribute to both families, Kayleigh also included the beautiful bagpipes to lead her and her parents in to honor her Scottish heritage. Tali & Alex 17.3.24 - Including some Jewish customs into yesterday’s ceremony was truly fitting for such a fun loving couple and it was my honor to be the Celebrant that pronounced them Husband & Wife. Together with family & friends there were much joy and happiness and shouts of Mazeltov as they smashed two glasses together and started the celebrations.

“Dan and I got married on 24 Feb 24 - we cannot recommend Roger more highly! Roger did such an incredible job as our celebrant and MC - fun, energetic and thoughtful!

We really appreciated how Roger went out of his way to meet up wo us before the wedding to get to know us and answer any questions we had about the wedding process. We knew Roger was a trusty pair of hands!

On the day, Roger delivered a very heartfelt ceremony, and made all of our guests feel important. There were tears, laughter and lots of smiles! We had a number of guests come up to us and comment on how lovely the ceremony was!

Roger was so caring - he looked after us as the bride and groom, as well as our bridal party, parents and guests.

As the MC, Roger facilitated a fun and exciting reception - the vibe was spot on! And we are so impressed that Roger kept the evening running smoothly and on schedule!

To top it all off - Roger lodged all paperwork the very next day!

Sometimes you meet a couple that you click with straight away and today I had the absolute pleasure of being part of the wedding day of two such humans. Over the past year we have become great friends and today I pronounced Jacqui & Dan - Husband & Wife. It was a blast and we had so much fun - tears, laughter and so much love in the air. Joining family and friends at the reception as MC was awesome and the vibe was electric as was the dance floor. It was so nice to see them start the dancing with a fantastic bridal dance.

What a wash out it was for Wedding two today. Arrived at Black Mountain Peninsula at 3pm for a 4pm start, set up all my gear and then there was a few big spots of rain. Quickly covered by equipment and the it came down. We made a quick call to the bride who was on route and made the decision to go to plan B. We tried to get everything into cars and we all got completely drenched. The drive to plan b location was horrendous with wind, rain, hail (all on my two week old car). An hour later I was able to pronounce E&M husband and wife. Unfortunately there won’t be any photos of the couple as I totally respect their privacy wishes. Congratulations to you both.
