We are a purely voluntary, non-profit, non-political/religious charitable club.

Our Lion Club's monthly meetings are held on 1st Wednesday, 7pm for 7.30pm at Capel Tavern Cnr Capel Drive & Forrest Road; while the 3rd Wed is at the Capel Senior Citizens Centre on Roe Rd same time. 'Like' & join the pride everyone. One of the Capel Lions Club's ongoing projects is the Lions Markets held monthly on the 2nd and 4th Saturday in the park behind the Shire of Capel. Besides our local

trademark 60c Lion Mint outlets such as Musk, Fizzers, Spearmint, and Peppermint, let alone Christmas Cakes & Puddings. Also we do a fundraiser Australia Day breakfast every Jan 26th, promote blood donation for the local blood bank, and give back any club donations we receive back to the local, national, and international community, including disaster relief. Capel Lions Club WA is a part of Lions Clubs International founded by Melvin Jones in Oak Brook, Illinois USA 1917. Today LCI has become the largest international, secular and non-political service organization ever with over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries worldwide, let alone 100 years old. We are proud to freely support, donate, and sponsor our ongoing local and international Non-Profit organizations, fellow charities, and community activities, including State Emergency Service, let alone natural disaster emergency relief.

Membership is by pure 'invitation only' after initial inquiry of potential members male/female seeking to become apart of our club by freely expressing pure interest in joining us first as either Lion, Lioness, or Leo. Or those seeking to transfer themselves from fellow Lion Clubs to ours. It's a chance to make new friends and socially network locally with the WA community. If accepted annual membership fee is $20. Be sure to enthusiastically spread the word of mouth about our club around FB and beyond regardless.
