Things sure are busy here at Kidchella Newcastle & we are expanding our team!
We are currently hiring for a variety of roles to service our range of party options!
We are looking for:
🌸 Party hosts for our in house parties aged 16 & over
🌸 Party hosts for our "On Tour" division aged 18+ with drivers licence essential
🌸 A Face painting wiz
🌸 Braiders proficient in "mermaid" braids
You Will Need:
✨A sunny disposition & a can do attitude. You will be comfortable partying with children aged 4-12 years approx & have excellent customer service skills to converse with parents.
✨Experience working with children & performing arts experience is an advantage to really "own" the character you are playing.
✨Availability Friday nights, Saturdays & Sundays as required
✨Our "On Tour" staff should have their own licence (petrol allowance paid for parties 10klms from Kidchella Home Base)
✨Braiders should have a proven portfolio of immaculate mermaid braids.
✨Face Painters should attach photos of previous work & give estimates on how long their designs take to complete.
We pay a generous hourly rate for the right candidate.

💰 "We'll Do It Ourselves To Save Money" 💰

Its a fair statement. Last weekend I WAS that mum who organised a party herself for my 21 year old who due to injury had to have a quiet celebration with close family & friends. I had balloons, a table runner, cheese platters & of course a cake. There were about 15 people in attendance. No entertainment, BYO drinks- nothing OTT at all.

I was shocked when the combined bill came out at over $600!

It got me thinking- What WOULD it cost to hold a simple childs birthday at home? I did a bit of research and my findings are below.

We work hard on our supplier relationships at Kidchella to keep costs of foods & materials down & pass on our trade discounts to our clients.

Our packages start at $495 plus GST for 10 children & for THAT you get a venue decked out in your chosen theme, custom invitations, a party host that engages your party goers for a whole 2 hours, craft activity for each party guest to take home & all food & drink provided! Theres no running around, no set up, no clean up- its all done for you!

Our Kidchella Lite Experience is the perfect choice for girlie girls featuring whimsical palms, lace teepees & ferris wheel theming- our party goers chill on the festival lawn creating their art canvas to keep while our braid & glitter girlie hosts make over each & every guest with a coloured ponytail (that they can take home, keep & reuse) as well as face glitter before our guests do a festival photo shoot!

Secret Fairy Business!
WORKSHOP THIS THURSDAY 18TH AT 9.30AM-12 NOON.

We cant even tell you how excited we are! Her Royal Fairyness Fizgig is coming to Kidchella to scout for fairy talent!
Usually working in absolute secret under a cloak of moondust- Fizgig is going to share some TOP SECRET fairy business with budding fairies- to- be for just one morning only.
Fizgig and her Fairy friends will be sharing the secret art of wand making with all of our fairies in training making their very own wand, face painting beautiful designs on every child, sharing fairy stories, playing games and finishing off with a fairy high tea and a very special wish sent to fairy land with a puff of pixie dust to end this special day.
Spaces are strictly limited. Only true Fairy beleivers should apply.
Please no Imps, Goblins or Naughty Pixies by order of Fairy Management.

Fizgig will be giving our fairies a fairy special welcome with a fairy dust sprinkling & revealing what the children's SPECIAL TOP SECRET Fairy Name will be!

Secret Wand Making Business
Fizgig will be showing our Fairies in Training the ancient art of wand making using colouring pens, glitter & sequins in all the colours of the rainbow. Each Fairy will be making their own wand to take home.

10:30 am - 11:00 am
Fairy Games & Story
Fizgig will lead dance & games before offering our Fairies some light refreshments while they enjoy a fairytale.

11:00 am - 11:30 am
Fairy Face Painting & Photos
Using fairy props & a magical backdrop we capture your little ones special moment with the Fairies. Our Fairy Friends will be getting every Fairy photo ready with bespoke face painting for every child.

Fairy High Tea
It's been a big morning of training for our fairies so it's time for a fairy picnic! With sandwiches, sweets & of course fairy bread along with Fairy Pink Rose Water to celebrate with our new friends on the successful morning of Fairy Training. Each child gets a Certificate of Fairy Training Completion before its time for Fizgig to fly back to fairyland
