Enjoying a quiet moment in the gallery with all these beautiful works.

Unfathomable features new work by by Jackie Gorring, Minna Graham, Ella Hughes, Chandra Paul and Dannielle Wilkinson.

The five Central Victorian artists in this exhibition take what is hard to explain and create challenging, beautiful, messy, and inspiring artworks, artworks which have the capacity to handle the complexity of emotions that we find hard to articulate or bear - this is how we talk about the things that are unfathomable.

And Castlemaine Fringe Festival are presenting their massive fundraising Castlemaine Fringe Art Auction on Sunday afternoon at the new Shedshaker Taproom!

This is an authentic Mexican event, carefully put together by Mexicans, featuring Mexican performers - if you're looking for an unfiltered, genuine experience, this is the one event you absolutely must not miss.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant and rich culture of Mexico with two incredible shows:

𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 (𝟯𝗽𝗺)
Join us for a family-friendly fiesta featuring an Aztec Shaman welcoming you and doing a cleansing to get rid of the bad spirits, opening ceremony in Aztec language, traditional altar, festive piñatas, mouth-watering tacos, and, of course, over 10 masked luchadores. Expect a show packed with acrobatics, action, and a pinch of comedy that'll keep the entire family entertained!

Are you ready to rumble? Mexican wrestling is coming to town!

lot19 will be transformed into a haunted Lucha Libre Arena for this thrilling show by our friends from Lucha Fantastica.

Here is a little of what you can expect from the adult show on at 7 pm Saturday, 23 November .💀✨

There’s also a family show on at 3pm.

A show packed with acrobatics, action and a pinch of comedy! 🥊💐 And a mariachi band, traditional altar, Mexican bar + heaps more.

21 on 19 Group Exhibition

Lot19’s 21st birthday celebrations start today! There are so many people to thank but first up… a shout out to the remarkable Mark Anstey. Mark’s passion, vision and drive has created the gem that is lot19. Our celebrations kick off this afternoon with the opening of the 21 on 19: Group Exhibition (Opening Celebration) at 5.30pm. The exhibition features 21 artists (maybe more) who have been instrumental in Lot19 over the past two decades. Then we have the lot19 Open Day: Sunday 17 Nov on Sunday. Studio visits, coffee, food, bar, workshops, sunshine and happiness! And we are finishing up with MEAL OF FORTUNE - a lot19 lunch experience on Sunday Dec 1st. ***DO NOT MISS THIS!**

Our Story

Lot19 Art Space is an evolving creative space and events venue located in the central highlands of Victoria. The property also consists of 21 artists studios, two outdoor stages, a contemporary art gallery, and an outdoor sculpture park. We currently accommodate 28 artists in our 21 artists’ studio spaces, including Castlemaine Press, a community access print-making studio, and Castlemaine Clay, a community ceramics facility.
