Brit and James’s wedding was set in the stunning surroundings of Harcourt Valley Vineyard, adding vibrancy with aisle arrangements and Brit’s gorgeous, bright and fun bridal bouquet. Brit was easily one of the most relaxed and lovely brides l’ve ever had the privilege to work with and she looked absolutely breathtaking 🌸💕

I feel so grateful to have been trusted to create the florals for their special day. Bright and colourful designs are my absolute favourite, and this was such a joy to bring to life. Thank you again for letting me play a part in your celebration, it truly means so much! 💘

And that’s a wrap for me this year—officially putting my swollen ankles up! ☺️

A huge thank you to everyone who trusted me with their florals this year, from weddings to shop arrangements and those who visited my studio on Mother’s Day. Your support has meant the world to me, and I couldn’t ask for a better community to surround my little flower biz.

At 35 weeks pregnant, it’s time to slow down and prepare for this next chapter. I’ll also be saying goodbye to my studio in the coming weeks—it’s been such a joy to have this space, but with a bub on the way, I’ll be transitioning back to my home studio, which I’m so fortunate to have.

What does this mean for upcoming weddings? Absolutely nothing! I’ll still be creating beautiful florals, just from home, surrounded by my chickens and the comforts of family life. My emails are open, and I’ll be responding as usual. You’ll see me back in action in March! Thank you again for all the love and support—you’ve made this year unforgettable.

I finally put my flower brick to use after foraging in the garden this morning, and I’m loving the spring native foliage we have right now 🌿🪻

This piece combines the elegance of a vase with the functionality of a flower frog—so easy to use and simply beautiful!

🥀When the bride desires a moody palette with specifically NO PINKS 🌸🚫. This project was a fun and unique challenge, as pink pastels are usually my signature colours! 🌸 A Little About Me 🌸

Hi! I’m Jessie 👋, the owner of Alby Franks 🌼.

I spent 10 wonderful years as a high school teacher and recently transitioned into the wellbeing space, where I now work part-time as a student counsellor at a primary school. I’m also a mum to a little one named Sid, who with his hair, could easily be mistaken for the 5th Beatle!

Floristry has always been a passion of mine, and I’m thrilled to have recently opened my own studio in the beautiful town of Castlemaine.

Also Shout out to my husband who has always been my biggest supporter❣️

I named my business after my dog Alby, who fell ill last year but bounced back after being promised steak dinners every night. Now, he’s living his best life, lounging on the couch.

As an event florist, I love working with big, bright colours and mixing wildflowers with Australian natives. I’m a huge fan of and her amazing creations 💖.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who pre ordered, popped in, liked and shared my posts. Putting your faith in me and my business is something I’m so grateful for. I have loved the last few days getting to know my community and being able to show what Alby Franks Florals is all about. It has been so exciting seeing my studio filled with flowers and people. A massive shout out to Maddy from for allowing me to be apart of her open studio and giving me the push I needed 💖

🌼 Open Studio - Mother’s Day 🌼

Join in celebrating all things motherly at their Open Studio event in Castlemaine, running from Wednesday, May 8th to Sunday, May 12th. They’ll be featuring local label UMIFORM, childrenswear by SHRUNK, and jewelry by Hollie Bloss. On Sunday, indulge in mimosas and peruse flower bunches crafted by yours truly and will be available to purchase 🌷

Event Details:
- Dates: May 8th - 12th
- Wednesday to Friday: 10am - 4pm
- Saturday: 10am - 4pm
- Sunday: 10am - 2pm (featuring Mother’s Day Mimosa’s and Flowers by Alby Franks)
