Vendor Coordination: Often, couples forget to ensure vendors are on the same page regarding setup times, locations, and other logistics. Efficient coordination avoids last-minute hiccups.
Guest Dietary Restrictions: Sometimes, couples might forget to gather and communicate dietary restrictions to the catering team. Remind them to collect this information in advance.
Timeline Communication: Clearly communicate the timeline to all vendors, including your catering team. This ensures that food is served at optimal temperatures and aligns with the overall schedule.
Vendor Meals: Your vendors are working hard to make your day special, Don’t forget to include meals for your vendors, such as photographers, videographers, and musicians, in the catering plan. Ensure you communicate this well in advance to accommodate everyone.
Alcohol Quantities: Confirm in advance guest numbers and any additional guests to your vendor providing beverage service so they can ensure
Weather Contingency: For outdoor events, couples might forget to have a solid plan for unexpected weather changes. Ensure there’s a backup plan or tent arrangement.
Service Timeline: Coordinate with the caterer to establish a detailed service timeline. This includes the timing of appetisers, main course, dessert, and any additional services like cake cutting.
