11 organic posies made so far (yet to wrap). We picked 6 buckets total and might need to back for more, as I keep making them too big!

All the papers are folded and the string is cut, ready for tomorrow's workplace order of 20 posies. Going down to harvest in an hour, so I better wash the buckets quick smart. Love is in the air!

Here are our last two vase arrangements! Unfortunately, they'll be rare this year, as we can not grow and harvest the same volume of flowers (old back injury was a grumpy-grandpa last year with all the bending and reaching to harvest so many flowers).
We're still growing rows of flowers for YOU TO PICK in the coming months!
However, vase arrangements are now only available by special request (phone payment), to ensure we have enough blooms for bouquets.
Bouquets numbers are limited per day, however wedding flowers are not, as they're ordered in especially!

We look forward to helping you celebrate or sympathise with your friends and family, with lovely flowers in 2004!

A large Joyful bouquet for an order by my friend's sister - the roses are back on! They were for a lady who likes red, so we did a red satin bow and included a few red blooms to tie it in, visually.

Sometimes, sending your bouquet in a vase is super thoughtful, especially if the recipient is unwell or dealing with a lot. Here is how we present a medium bouquet in a vase. :-)
Oh, and you can see when it's done, I'd replaced that tall yellow dahlia as it wasn't perfect enough!
All the recipient has to to is top up the water!

An update on the next You Cut event. We're sorry to say it is delayed due to the recent drought. We had to let most of "the Florist's Garden" go, only watering the roses and foxgloves, when the water in the dam dropped so low that it came out as liquid mud (hand watering the only option). The "You Pick" garden has saved the florist! Those flowers are watered by the a deeper dam, and we are now relying on them to fulfill orders for flower deliveries. We're busy planting out the Florist's Garden again (rain = YAY!!!) so that we can open the You Pick garden for the purpose it was first created!

Here's how many flowers you can fit in your jar for $25 in the You Pick garden! We will show you tips for how to get as many flowers in there as possible. Best to go in pairs, so one of you can hold the jars while one snips, then visa versa. ;-) Taking bookings soon. Megan and Belinda x

Is it too late for bouquet of the day? This one's a medium Sunny Day. First time using the rainbow chrysathemums, because I was on the hunt for more yellow. I'm actually thrilled with them. Not ignoring them in the garden anymore! ;)

Memorial flowers today in tribute an an English lady, so English flowers were the most fitting. The sky blue delphinium is the first delphinium of that rare colour to bloom, and I was a very excited flower geek about it!

We're closed the next 3 days to get these seedlings in during this cool change (last one?). Rows of poppies, Queen Anne's lace and ranunculus have been used up or finished flowering, so are ready for the next plants already. Already! Kinda want to cry, but we need room for the king asters, feverfew and more snapdragons, so it's a blessing really. I guess. Sniffle. ;-) OPEN AGAIN FRIDAY 20th Oct 2023. :-D

5 bridal bouquets made in 3 hours (including picking a bucket of blooms from the garden)! We were on a time crunch, before model Milly went camping for a week. Wonderful we got it done finally! That wedding dress has been hanging out for 6 months for today! :D
