"I recently stumbled upon Little Yarra Crêperie and couldn’t be happier about it. They offer both savoury and sweet crêpes, and I opted for a savoury one—the Galette Complète with spinach. This traditional Breton dish features crêpe filled with ham, cheese, and egg, and the addition of spinach provided a delightful twist. The crêpe was crispy and perfectly cooked, and the coffee was spot on too. What really stood out to me was the vibe and decor. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you could sit all day, relaxing, catching up with a friend, or even getting some work done. It’s not a spot I would normally discover, tucked away in an industrial area. But I happened to be visiting a business nearby and was thrilled to spend some time there. I love how spacious the coffee shop is, with doors on each side, which give it a nice breeze. Also, a special note that the bathroom was very clean. I look forward to coming back and trying the sweet crêpes. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!"

This Sunday is La Chandeleur, the French festival of crêpes! 🇫🇷✨

Traditionally celebrated on 2nd February, La Chandeleur is all about gathering with loved ones and indulging in golden, buttery crêpes – because really, is there a better way to mark the occasion? In France, it’s said that flipping a crêpe while holding a coin in your other hand brings good luck for the year ahead… but let’s be honest, we’ll take any excuse to eat more crêpes!

Join us in celebrating Crêpe Day the proper way – with artisan crêpes made fresh for you! We’ll be at Alphington Farmers Market from 9am to midday and at our Thornbury warehouse from 9am to 2 pm, serving up all your sweet and savoury favourites.

Whether you go for a classic lemon, butter & sugar, our ever-popular Strawberry Fields, or one of our indulgent galettes, you’re in for a treat. Plus, Dougal will be on the coffee machine at the warehouse, making sure your cup is just as perfect as your crêpe!

We’ve whipped up FOUR MORE CHRISTMAS HAMPERS after completely selling out at the warehouse! 🎁 Each hamper has a delicious collection of edible goodies and now comes with a FREE Epiphanie set – a beautiful little nod to the French tradition of celebrating Epiphany in January. The set includes a tiny ceramic pastry and gold paper crown, so you can make your own galette des rois, (or cake of your choice) with the ceramic pastry buried inside, and crown the person who gets the lucky slice the king or queen for the day! 👑✨

We’ve also got limited stock of house-made goodies - florentines, chocolate coated candied orange slices, Christmas cake, apple cider vinaigrette, puttanesca sauce and chilli jam, and a few sets of the sweetest Christmas cards featuring stunning artwork by the lovely Charline.
