EarthHouse is a unique guesthouse, built from local rammed-earth and situated in the picturesque hills of the North Coast of New South Wales. Located just 10 minutes from Bangalow, EarthHouse comprises of two independent queen-sized rooms, each with their own beautifully appointed bathroom, breakfast pantry and private courtyard. s the Corndale Valley and beyond to the Nightcap ranges. We are currently constructing an additional rammed-earth building to cater for weddings and events. Our vision for EarthHouse is that it will be the premier venue in the Northern Rivers region for unique weddings, gatherings and accommodation. The EarthHouse philosophy is tasteful simplicity, inspired by and sympathetic to the natural environment. Every care has been made to ensure the comfort of guests, whilst being sensitive to the earth from which it was built.

We’ll be opening our doors from 10am to 1pm on Saturday for this fantastic event.
Take a journey through Byron’s beautiful hinterland and beachside locations to find your dream wedding destination.
Visit EarthHouse and discover what is so special about the venue, while chatting to Munro about your celebration and touring the building and gardens.
The Open Day is also the perfect opportunity to meet expert wedding planners, tThe Wedding Shed stylists, and the Fig Tree/Feast Events catering team, as well as many more of the region’s talented suppliers. There will be celebrants, photographers, florists, cake makers and more showcasing as part of the event.
Build your dream tablescape using interactive styling display, mixing and matching items from their hire range.
There’s also the option to wrap up the day with a cocktail, canapés and a delicious multiple course tasting experience 🥂

It’s always exciting to be part of the and a chance for suppliers to let their imaginations run wild. Last year was no exception with this unforgettable floral installation created by , featuring a golden tornado of wattle suspended on air. Grecian-inspired tablescapes by completed this unique interpretation of a whimsical and romantic look that simply took our breath away.

Our Story

EarthHouse is a unique wedding and events venue, built from local rammed-earth and situated in the picturesque hills of the North Coast of New South Wales. Located just 10 minutes from Bangalow, it’s Mediterranean-inspired building is nestled within established gardens, featuring extensive lawns and our magnificent 100-year-old fig tree.

The venue’s spacious interior offers an open fireplace, polished concrete floors, and a soaring cathedral ceiling with exposed timber beams. Sitting high on a ridge, this versatile space opens onto a large verandah, offering spectacular views across the Corndale Valley.

EarthHouse also offers boutique B&B accommodation for guests wishing to enjoy and explore Byron Bay and its stunning hinterland. These two intimate living spaces are built from rammed earth and comprise independent, queen-sized rooms, each with their own beautifully appointed bathroom, breakfast pantry and private courtyard. Both rooms open onto a wide verandah, with incredible views across the valley and beyond to the Nightcap ranges.

EarthHouse has been designed as a blank canvas for clients to plan and create their perfect occasion – wedding, anniversary, birthday or corporate event.
