BLESS THIER MESS, MINI SENSORY TRAYS!
Carefully educator curated sensory trays have been made for you to take home to explore with your little one. A range of different experiences and learning tools have been thoughtfully planned and packaged together to use in the home. These will keep your little ones engaged for hours in their play with the comfort of knowing they are learning while having so much fun. Every tray is sold with information explaining the benefits each experience has to offer and ways to extend and interact with your child.
Keep an eye out for more sneak peaks as the week goes on. Tonight it's our dinosaur tray 🦖
These will be available on Sunday 13th August at the camp quality indoor market at the lake bowls club.

Every child is unique, which is why I make myself very open to conversation and flexible in what I offer..
I want to hear what is your child obsessed with at the moment?
My 2 yr old is becoming very into dinosaurs while my 4 yr old is enjoying anything that involves cognitive thinking and problem solving no matter the "theme".

A range of textures all in the one tray. This experience will enhance all senses of the body, smell the flowers, squish the slime, see the variety of colour, listen to the conversations or the swishing of the rice and to top it off all taste safe aswell.

Slime or cloud dough??

Giving choice in children's play gives children the freedom to make their own decisions and feel supported to do so. This promotes identity and self confidence that they will carry with them through their everyday life's. We all have to make choices everyday, engaging in cause and effect experiences allows children to test their limits and push boundies in a safe environment.

What I see:

🟢 Foundation numeracy skills
🔵 Investigating and using their imagination

What the kids see:

Fine motor skills are those that involve a refined use of the small muscles which control the hand, fingers and thumb. This skill can be strengthened through play and used in their everyday life such as doing up zippers and feeding themselves.
Today we encouraged this by adding tongs, scissors and small sorting cups into the play space.

🌻 My why 🌻

Not long ago I had a moment... a moment many of us have often had. I had an idea in my head for a new play space for my boys but as usual days went by then weeks were gone and i still hadn't done it. Then came the day I finally made time to change the play area, set it up how I had pictured in my head. Then within 10seconds it was turned upside down, random objects added a "MESS" everywhere. This sent my overwhelmed mum brain into a state of anxious thoughts that then said the words "that's chalk not soap" "mud is brown not blue" and "stop mixing everything up".

But then my past years as an early childhood educator kick in my brain telling me to stop, take a breath, listen to what he is telling me and look through his eyes as he played.

This was my light bulb moment. This lit something inside me. I want to create an environment other parents can see what benefits come from letting their child get messy amoungst their play. I want to support children through exploring all their sensors as they create messy memories in a safe, encouraged environment.

This is my why, this is what drives me to build this new business in our community as I am passionate about supporting other parents/careers while engaging with children making messy memories together.

🌻 WHAT IS MESSY PLAY? 🌻

Messy Play is a style of play in which children get to take the lead, explore and learn with their hands, and experience a wide variety of textures and materials. It focuses on play-based learning and allows children to learn at their own speed.

It naturally encourages children to use motor skills and scientific processes while they play, create, investigate, problem solve and explore their surroundings. Also while building their language, vocabulary and social-emotional skills

🌻 Edible sensory play 🌻

Today we created a construction tray with 100% edible ingredients. Safe to consume and new textures for the kids to explore.
