Mother's day 2024 recap. Just the 1 website order for me this year 🥹☺️
Most small biz folk would see this as a fail, i'll admit I did too at first, but the reality is I worked 70 odd hours across 6 days at my day job, pumping Brisbane full of beautiful blooms & keeping my team going!
And that means alot to me 🧡
Hi Blooms will be closed for the next week as we take a much needed break over in NZ 😘

Miss Hi Blooms 💐
3 years ago, I was in the middle of studying for my floristry certs & trying to break into my first floristry job to hit the ground running 💪
Also, 3 years ago (almost to the date), I was diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder & entered psychiatric treatment for the foreseeable future. Life threw me curveballs that I couldn't quite navigate & I fell over many many times.
But flowers & floristry always kept me grounded, always kept me going, and through life's twists & turns, I always found my way back to them, to doing what I love.

This week, I was officially discharged from psychiatric care 🤘💪
This week coming, I will be going into the busiest week of my working florist life as bouquet team leader at my day job (which I bloody love even if it drives me nuts sometimes 😅🥴), as well as being the boss bitch of Hi Blooms where it's just me, myself & I (oh and Mr Hi Blooms for deliveries 😜)

Can I get a HECK YEAH YOUR DOING IT GIRL!

Prioritise doing what you love, prioritise your mental & emotional health, surround yourself with those who truly care for you, love you & help ground you, and shove off anyone who doesn't fit that criteria 👊💪

As you guys know, I work full time in the industry and, as such, will be insanely, crazy, sickeningly busy in the lead up to Mother's day...

BUT...

I have a small window of time to create and make and deliver (with the help of Mr Hi Blooms) on the afternoon/evening of Saturday 11th, and Mother's Day itself Sunday 12th May.

1. Orders via website ONLY. Dms, txts & calls run the risk of being missed.
2. Delivery only. No pickups available
3. If the delivery date disappears on the website, that's because I have sold out! If I have any leftovers whatsoever, I will be posting these on socials in which I can sell on a first come, first serve basis ☺️

Mother's day is literally next weekend guys, make sure your organised to spoil your mums rotten!!!

Hi Blooms will be back at the Quibble_market this Sunday 7th April 🤩 im planning to go with my sugar range this weekend, gorgeous whites, creams, light pink and peach tones. Of course that might change depending on what delicious colours come through the flower markets 😅😊 I'll also have some new dried baby pots available as I've sold out!

Never have I ever owned a cymbidium orchid stem and I got one from work and it's the most beautiful thing ever 🫠 I weaved white carnation sims through the gaps and now it's sitting pretty on my dining table for the weekend 😘 one of the perks of being a florist, you always have florals in the house!

Kate's bridal bouquets from last Friday 💐 honestly creating content is the hardest part of small business for me. I do every part of Hi Blooms myself, the market run, prepping & conditioning, making, budgeting & costing, deliveries, content creation & posting.
