Our 1860s heritage-listed and refurbished School Masters House features original ornate details that have been lovingly restored to their full glory. Last night we attended the Shoalhaven Business Awards at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre as a finalist in the Outstanding New Business Category. We walked away with “Highly Commended”, narrowly missing out on the top prize by 0.5 of a mark!!

To say that we are delighted, is an understatement! Richard and I would like to thank everyone in the local business community, the Berry Chamber of Commerce and in particular everyone in the Shoalhaven wedding industry for being so supportive to the “new kids on the block”.

In particular we would love to thank our couples who have booked with us in our first year of operation. Thank you for trusting us with your special day and your flattering reviews.

Dean thanks for coming on board and coping with the “crazy”. Last but not least, a huge thank you to Reanah, without your hard work, patience, sense of humour, belief in the venue and determination we would definitely not be where we are today.

Operating as the first school in the Shoalhaven Heads/Coolangatta region from 1883 to 1959, this cherished hall and the teacher’s residence were listed for heritage in 1985.
