Di Morrison will be running two more free sessions of breath and meditation at Cooran Hall on:

Tuesday 3rd September at 12:45pm
Tuesday 10th September at 12:45pm

• Move your body to release stress and tension;

• Harness the power of breath to relax your body and clear your mind; and

• Learn simple meditation techniques to cultivate a calm state of being.

Supported by Noosa Council, these one hour sessions are free. You don’t need to reserve a spot, just show up, and please bring a yoga mat and cushion.

The Seven Stages of Pam

A witty and satirical journey through the milestones of three not so ordinary women all miraculously born on the same day in the same year, 1958.
Devised and performed by the Mature Women Actors after a three month devising and rehearsal process.

MWAH is a participatory theatre project facilitated by Perseverance Street Theatre Company Gympie.

This original new performance work explores the lives of three very different women, all named Pamela.Three Pams search for love, meaning, and security across seven life stages from childhood to the their final breath.This 85 minute performance blends storytelling, acting, music and physical theatre to explore the significant milestones in three womens' lives. Witty, funny and satirical with a blend of humour and pathos, The Seven Stages of Pam will appeal to adult audiences.

Developed over a three month workshop and rehearsal program, this performance emerged from the authentic, rich and diverse life stories of the performers. This important participatory theatre project was devised by 17 women aged from 45 -74. Working with professional theatre maker Dr Sharon Hogan, the group honed their performance and devising skills to explore important issues, challenges and celebrations that many women may experience and can relate to.

Growing up in a period of incredible social and technological change, our Pams ride the ups and downs of life with wit and tenacity.

MWA - Mature Women Actors aged from 55 to 75 telling the story of 'The 7 Stages of Pam'. Pam is born in the 50s. The performance shows 3 different Pams growing up in different locations and circumstances. See how they all unfold. A mature women's drama group is starting up, first session this Friday 31st May at Cooran Hall with Sharon Hogan!

Hey Lady/Fellow Thespians. The wonderful playwright/director extraordinaire 'Sharon' - from Gympie Perseverance Street Theatre is starting an acting group for mature women who like to act/perform/move on stage. No prior experience necessary.
Sharon will be running a block of 10 classes in Theatre/movement /acting skills..
Starting this Friday 31st May..(9.30 to 11 am)..Cost is $20..at Cooran Hall.
After a break she will lead whoever wants to be in a performance (scheduled for Sun Aug 10th) into it's development..
There is no cost for this part and it is not essential. 💗🤗💗

This family friendly chalkboard event is held at the beautiful Cooran Hall every 6 weeks. Doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start.

Those Folk will be performing a matinee concert at the Cooran Hall on Sunday the 21st of April. This will be their last local concert until July, so don't miss it! The gig will feature 2 sets by Those Folk performing their original music. Tickets are $25 for the concert and they are available online or at the door. There will be afternoon tea available by donation. Doors open at 2:30pm for a 3pm concert.
