Good Morning. It’s been eventful on The Hogfather farm this morning. I had to save a piglet from another pig mid birthing luckily this beautiful pig is very gentle and aloud me to come help. We then moved the other pigs to another paddock, a job of which I was going to do today to prepare for birth but I was to late 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🐷 first litter for her so a small one but she did very well considering.

Another successful Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days over
We went through;
🫖 25L of gravy,
🥬 30kg of Coleslaw and ran out at the end of the last day so 40kgs next year.
🐷 92kg of pork,
🥖 473 rolls,
🌯 310 wraps
💧 320 bottles of water
😅 and a lot of energy

The HogFathers famous frozen meals will be on sale at Gidgegannup Small Farm Field day
Previously advertised on the ABC country hour, these meals have been used by farmers, truck drivers and people on the go. There great for a quick dinner after a big night/ day out 🍻☺️ they come in recyclable and reusable containers that are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, including your 12v portable ovens which are great for a long car trip or tractor.

We had to check our Gilts and Weaners today getting them ready to move to another paddock using “Stevo” the wonder dog. Some are long but a little info on how we move free range pigs without to much fuss. Was great opportunity to check their health and make sure they have no issues hope you enjoy. Video 1 of 4 will post them all up so you can watch in order! 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
