Its been long time since I've been here or made flowers, over the last month or so they have seriously been on my mind a lot. Then out of the blue I was asked to create some strawberry flowers as a cake topper that I was excited about. After trying different papers for leaves we settled on the doublette and we are both very happy with the finished result. There a lots of small bunches so they can be placed were needed on the cake and I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures once its all set up.

Mmmm i haven't been able to access this pages for quite a few weeks, not sure why but now all of a sudden I can. So I haven't been sitting idle. Here are some of flowers I've made lately, coral charm peonies, sweetpeas using different papers, phlox, anemone and quite a lot of foliage. Roses next, my favourite lol

So my latest paper creations are these mini top hats, I started wanting to create something special for a gorgeous lady who is about to turn 104, when I made that one I just had to make more and with St Patrick's day coming then green sparkly ones were it lol these minis are so fun to make, they would be great for hens nights, weddings and any other celebration. There made using card stock, paper, felt and lots of other embellishments.

Wow its been so long since ive been on social media, i needed a huge break to deal with family issues , I havent made a paper flower in what seems like forever but im going to slowly come back, In the meantime ive been working in leisure and lifestyle at the aged care facility and learning new things, loving getting our residence involved in craft of all sorts, ( my perfect job lol ) I have been playing with paper and felt and helping our lovely residence create their own art work. I'll be sharing some different paper things that ive learnt and hopefully i'll be able to get back into paper flowers soon. Anyway just wanted to say Hi and im looking forward to catching up xo

I apologise as it's been a while since I posted here, but now I'm pretty excited as a new book came last Friday that I've been waiting months for, I have to say that it's an absolutely stunning book and I couldn't wait to try something. Jessie has created this beautiful book. I really wanted to try the cherry blossom and so far here are 2 branches. This book was just the inspiration I needed to really start creating again.
