Bring your best friends along when you stay with us. We are opposite Goolawah Beach (Back Beach), which has a leash-free area. Further down our road, Delicate Nobby is another beautiful spot for off-leash adventures. Main Beach in Crescent Head is only a two-minute drive and has an off-leash area a couple of hundred meters up from the footbridge.

Today, we had a very special visitor at Tranquillo Crescent Head on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. While exploring the diverse ecosystem, we were privileged to observe this stunning goanna, the monitor lizard. These impressive reptiles are renowned for their climbing abilities and are often seen skillfully navigating the branches of trees in search of prey. It was truly a memorable wildlife encounter that highlighted the unique characteristics of these fascinating creatures.
