💔My heart hurts a little bit today after some theft from the garden gate this weekend. We had theft of flowers on both Saturday and Sunday (mother's day)😥. It's a real shame because a lot of hard work, time and love goes into growing and creating the things we offer on the stall for the community. I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to those who are honest and respect our honesty payment system. 🌸 My hope is that the theft was a one off and we can keep sharing the fruits of our labour with you all 💖

Ballarat Begonia Festival 🌸
How lucky we are to have such a wonderful free event in our region. The Begonia display is quite frankly breathtaking, plus there are always wonderful presenters sharing their knowledge. Today we were lucky enough to listen to Hannah Moloney and Jerry Coleby-Williams from gardening Australia.
I also highly recommend looking at the Dahlia display which is where I usually make my wishlist for new varieties I want to grow next season 🌸🌼🏵️

Thank you Sandy for celebrating the women of Creswick. I am thrilled to be included as a local woman inspiring others but I must also hold the mirror back up to you as you are also one of those women. If my humble farm gate stall spreads even a little bit of joy in our community, then I have achieved my goal 🌞🌸🌺🌺🌼🏵️
Here is to women celebrating and lifting each other up! 😊

IWD is not about celebrating 'good women's (goodness we wouldn't know where to stop). It's about celebrating women who challenge the stereotype and women who take charge of their lives and inspire us. Meet Georgie or as we know her, "Amabel", from Amabels Garden Gate who is doing just that.
