When you have the privilege of officiating at the wedding of a young girl that you have seen grow up, from an ex-student at Bunbury Primary, family friend and my daughter's best mate, it brings so much joy. The little girl has grown into a beautiful young woman and a wonderful mother, and now wife to Dane.

Tomorrow, at The Bull and Bush Tavern , Dakota and Brandon will be married. I will be their Celebrant and this will be my 100th wedding. This couple is so cool, they made me a badge which they presented to me at today's rehearsal. Kim and Helen will always be my first, in the middle of Turf 1 at the Perth Hockey Stadium and Dakota and Brandon will always be number 100.

Well that is a wrap for 2021 wedding season for me. 2022 is looking busy and 2023 is the year I slow things down and only take limited bookings.

Hackersley Estate Wines was the venue and the beautiful bride, Lucy arrived in a French vineyard car, a Citroen which drove through the vines. Congratulations to Murray and Lucy, the rain stopped, we had perfect weather and a wonderful wedding.
