When you have the privilege of officiating at the wedding of a young girl that you have seen grow up, from an ex-student at Bunbury Primary, family friend and my daughter's best mate, it brings so much joy. The little girl has grown into a beautiful young woman and a wonderful mother, and now wife to Dane.

Congratulations Olivia and Dane. It was an absolute honor being your celebrant.

What an amazing wedding. Congratulations to Bec and Tristan who were married at Moss Wood, the family business and where Tristan is a wine maker. After officiating as celebrant, I changed hats and MC'd the reception in the magnificent barrel room. There was such a fantastic vibe at this wedding, so much love in the room.

Such a beautiful review from Ella and Cameron who were married under the "Old Oak Tree" at Lewana Cottages . Back there in two weeks time for another special wedding.

Well, tomorrow marks a milestone. When I first became a Civil Celebrant, as a hobby in retirement, I had no idea about the joy that I would feel. Tomorrow, at The Bull and Bush Tavern , Dakota and Brandon will be married. I will be their Celebrant and this will be my 100th wedding. This couple is so cool, they made me a badge which they presented to me at today's rehearsal. Kim and Helen will always be my first, in the middle of Turf 1 at the Perth Hockey Stadium and Dakota and Brandon will always be number 100.

Well that is a wrap for 2021 wedding season for me. 2022 is looking busy and 2023 is the year I slow things down and only take limited bookings.

I would like to wish all of the couple's that I have worked with and will be working with in 2022, a wonderful,festive and relaxing Christmas break.

Hackersley Estate Wines was the venue and the beautiful bride, Lucy arrived in a French vineyard car, a Citroen which drove through the vines. Congratulations to Murray and Lucy, the rain stopped, we had perfect weather and a wonderful wedding.
