thanks for a great 2024 everyone……. mmmmmm that was a crazy year
we’re more settled, way more focused and most importantly closer………
but so not finished
It really does take a village to make the thing work
some gratuitous gloating and some self reflective moaning
the good:
the room is sounding great especially the bottom end (thanks eldon and daniel lade)
amazing performances: charli2na, miss kannina, saltwater band, jessica mauboy, ripple effect band, fuxache……and so so many others
amazing club nights, again so many….some highlights : wax’o paradiso, ayebatonye, berti, tropadelica, pastor, tropidelica, roza terenzi, afrodisia
food quality improvements across the board
coffee & patisserie excellence (yati… we love you)
amazing staff
the more to come:
we have some new top boxes driven by Australian Monitor amps to complete the room sound will be even better in 2025
seating in the big room…..naughty booths and pool table in the big room for night owling
indoor tropical on steroids (hydroponic lamps)
more adventurous pizza and grill options
Some whoops:
bars getting over run when busy
chaotic doors for bands
ad hoc lighting
dead fish
it’s a labour of love
