It has taken us over a decade to achieve our dream of bringing the finest global brands in concert production to Darwin.

Our goal has always been to provide world-class equipment to our clients and our Northern Territory market, and recently, we made a significant investment into more d&b audio gear. The arrival of the J-series from d&b has been nothing short of astonishing—what a speaker box! Before we could even unwrap the pallet, it was swiftly deployed for an event.

Preparing ourselves for the next six weeks, it feels like gearing up for a wild ride this dry season. None of us have experienced a rodeo, but these past four months have certainly felt like a whirlwind of chaos. One week, it's pure mayhem; the next, we're busy painting stage panels. Then, we find ourselves pressing a few faders on a QU16 for the Prime Minister at parliament house then managing an extravagant wedding out in the bush. Regardless of the coas around our dry season, we feel fortunate to be part of this vibrant business community.

Stan seen here is firing up the Digico gear for stock take, ensuring it's primed for ongoing projects in the months ahead.

It's rare to identify a person's success before they achieve significant milestones. They say true leadership sets the example, strives to have the best attitude, works the hardest and leads the charge into challenges.

Recently, our business manager encountered a 100-meter cable returned from a job in disarray. Instead of delegating the task, they took it upon themselves to fix it. Rolling a cable of that length isn't easy, especially for those more accustomed to office environments than technical tasks. This act demonstrates exceptional leadership—truly impressive.

We can all glean valuable lessons from this example. We're incredibly fortunate to have such outstanding leaders in our organization, and Miss Sophie Charles exemplifies this leadership at its finest.

Welcome to Country ceremonies are receiving increased attention these days, with technology playing a pivotal role in delivering these important welcomes.

Here's a sneak peek into one of our recent rehearsals: we utilized 6 x Panasonic projectors, Barco S3 processing, 8 x Astra 19 washes, 8 x Vipers, and 6 x Quantum washes to create a visually stunning experience. The audio system was anchored by a flown Kudo L'Acoustic rig.

For AV companies like ours that thrive on technical creativity, it's incredibly gratifying to have the opportunity to enhance these welcomes with vibrant colors, innovative ideas, and tecnnical expertise and experience.

The 2024 National Tourism Awards recently graced Darwin's Convention Centre, and it was Ben Thibaud and his team who truly elevated the audiovisual experience to remarkable heights.

Introducing such a unique projection design for a national awards show was undeniably a risk, but it paid off magnificently. The main PA system boasted 5 x boxes of L'Acoustic Kudo per side, complemented by d&b M4 wedges on the stage.

The lighting setup was equally impressive, featuring:

32 x Pluto 2000 washes

Ben's unwavering attention to detail served as a beacon of inspiration, solidifying his position as one of the finest Corporate Technical designers and technical directors in the Northern Territory.

It would be ideal if technology functioned flawlessly every time, eliminating the need for constant testing and troubleshooting. During the busiest time of the year for the event industry in the Northern Territory, the last thing we want to deal with is the hassle of testing LED panels once again. However, as everyone involved knows, your reputation in this field hinges on the success of your most recent event and LED pixels can be fickle.

This Sunday, we're gearing up for a significant show featuring a 12-meter LED screen traveling 2000 kilometers. Such endeavours wouldn't be possible without the meticulous attention to detail provided by our dedicated crew. A special acknowledgment and heartfelt thanks go out to Sudhan, who has truly gone above and beyond in repairing approximately 180 LED modules over the past three weeks. Your exceptional efforts are deeply appreciated. Thank you immensely.

What an achievement to have successfully navigated through approximately 68 events across the Territory in just 6 weeks! Gathered around the tables are truly remarkable individuals. Throughout the years, we've welcomed countless talented technicians, but there's something undeniably special about this year's team.

Firstly congratulations for all going above and beyond and secondly, I think we all need a new set of eyebrows. A Brilliant night at OKA teppanyaki was had and yes, the karaoke machine was pushed to its limits.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to all the team. There's nothing quite like experiencing a Darwin Dry season, and perhaps that's the secret to cultivating such versatile technicians—having the opportunity to engage with every aspect of creating and running small and large scale productions.

A special mention to Liam and Arun in working in Alice Springs that were with us in spirit, and Daniel and Max in Uluru. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. Here's to celebrating your outstanding contributions!

Dreamedia played a small yet significant role in the delivering the audio. lighting and vision for this this year's annual Paspaley Starlight Ball.

It was an astounding result event that successfully raised over $650,000 in donations. The event dazzled with all its glamour and opulence, and witnessing such an incredible outcome was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt congratulations to the dedicated AV technicians whose hard work made it all possible. Behind the scenes, countless hours were poured into creating the spectaculars end result. A massive shoutout to the entire crew for their tireless efforts!"

About 15 years ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Shane Philips, a true authority in his field. His expertise shone brightly when he played a pivotal role in designing the audio rig for bass at the Ground DJ stage. It's been wonderful to witness him back in action, doing what he excels at—making things sound incredible. His rig, a complete D&B setup, graced the 360 stage:

Back Rocking the Heart of Australia.

We continually emphasize the privilege we feel in carrying out our work and serving the events industry. With a visionary client and a partnership with AllAbout Party Hire, the brief was executed flawlessly. Everyone relished a fantastic evening.

After bump out was concluded, the staff enjoyed a meal under the stars while witnessing the spectacle of 1200 drones illuminating the Uluru skyline. Of course, there may have been a few celebratory drinks to mark the success of the event, and staying hydrated was paramount—safety first!

Through the seamless integration of Barco 20K and Panasonic 12K projectors, the outcomes are truly remarkable. This intimate dinner serves as a platform to spotlight the destination, the venue, and the cutting-edge technology employed. While we're unable to present all the footage, Ben Thibuad, the technical designer for this project, unquestionably exceeded expectations with his ex*****on of the brief.

Everything old is new again. In a remote area of Australia...we are working hard at migrating every previous audio system over to d&b audio systems. For anyone working in remote locations, its very hard to ensure ROI on touring level equipment....we are doing our best to slowly be the largest supplier of d&b audio systems in the Northern Territory. Huge shout out to the team at NAS Audio systems for their support. Now we have V-series, Y- series and Q series. Hoping to build on these options for our clients and keep expanding.
