Believe it or not this week, nine years ago, I took over The Deloraine florist. I always had a vision of how I wanted my shop to look, but also how it would make people feel. Over the years, the new location, expansion and overall growth has continued to blow me away. I have always felt our business was a service to our community, spreading cheer, acknowledging grief, helping out clubs, schools and other businesses where we can. We have become an institution in the town, a meeting place, a daily fix, a friendly chat. It fills me with so much joy and gratitude that I could create this in my own community, with the help of my beautiful staff, amazing husband, my supportive family and brilliant landlords. I have made a point over the years of supporting local growers, and I’m so happy to say most of our flowers are Tasmanian. We really do live in paradise. Thank you all so much for continuing to support us. In appreciation, from Wednesday to Saturday, every purchase in store over $50 will be eligible for a free small take away coffee (or other beverage) AND go into a draw for a $100 gift voucher plus a large florists choice bouquet! Two runners up will receive a bunch of new seasons local peonies! Must pick up on Saturday. Come in and say hi this week and help us celebrate.

Another massive week to celebrate our dearest Mums. But it can’t happen without the work of our wonderful staff who put in the extra hours to make it happen.
