Fergusson Winery has a long, proud heritage; one of the earliest, old-school original, family-run boutique vineyards in the region, we were established during the second wave of viticulture that inspired the Yarra Valley in the late 1960s.

Today, our Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines, which turn 50 this year, are still cared for and tended to by our youngest son and vineyard manager, Jeremy, and our huge, traditional Australian dining hall-style restaurant and events are still catered for with love by director and award-winning chef, Louise.

We specialize in events, weddings and lovely weekends away in the Yarra. Lounge about in the Homestead accommodation at the front of the property - with vineyard or hill views, a bottle of sparkling and a local cheese and produce platter. Amble between the vines up to the restaurant for a big English breakfast or hearty country lunch; or wake up early with Marlon and the balloon boys - Blue Sky Ballooning, for a sunrise soiree over the valley in a hot air balloon and a heartwarming feast back at Lou Lou’s, our charming breakfast room.
