Winter is one of my favourite seasons to shoot in! So if you’re scared to book a session in Winter, don’t be. Here’s some reason why I love it so much:
✨ Winter sunsets are soft and gorgeous. Plus the sun sets ways earlier so you won’t have to worry about compromising bed time or moods with kids, and the session will be done before dinner! Between 4pm and 5pm is best at the moment.
✨ Outfits this time of year are so cute and so cosy. Think chunky knits, jeans and cute sweaters, blankets and beanies. It’s so fun to put together outfits for Winter sessions (and if you’re stuck doesn’t ideas, I can send you some inspiration and chat through outfits prior to the shoot).
✨ It’s less busy this time of year, which means there’s more availability and quicker turn around times for galleries. Who doesn’t love that!
Now is literally the perfect time for a session. If you want to chat about availability or shoot ideas, get in touch and let’s get the shoot booked 🫶🏻
Come and spend the weekend away with me for a wedding in the bay! ☀️
A bit of GRWM - wedding photographer destination wedding edition!
I’ve seen a lot of things the morning of a wedding, like way too many people running around trying to get ready, running out of time, missing items and heaps more, so here are my top tips for a stress free wedding prep morning 👇🏻
✨ Only have necessary/super important people with you while you’re getting ready. Having too many people (including kids) running around trying to do things can cause extra stress, so think about who needs to be there and if they don’t, sort something else out for them so they can also get ready in peace.
✨ Allocate more time than you think so you’re not racing with the clock! Chat with your makeup artist, hair stylist and photographer to double check their suggested timing for things and go from there. Better to have more time than not enough!
✨ If you can avoid it, have your prep location and ceremony location as close to each other as possible. Lengthy travel time cuts into your prep time so take that into consideration when choosing where everything will be.
✨ To save time, have any special details you want photographed set aside so that it’s all easy to find when the photographer arrives. We don’t have to bug you for everything, and we can get stuck straight into things as soon as we get there!

I’m going through the step by step process of having me as your wedding photographer, from the initial inquiry right through to the delivery of your final gallery and album. Grab a cuppa or a wine and get comfy for this one! ☕️
Something I often get asked is if I travel for weddings, and the answer is a big fat yes! I’m so excited for all the places I get to go to this year, and can’t wait to see where 2025 will take me.
If your getting married anywhere in Australia, or ANYWHERE (Italy or Greece I’m looking at you 😉) get in touch and we can chat about your day and how you can have me there right alongside you!
My new family albums are here!!! And I’m so so excited to be offering them to not only my wedding clients, but to everyone. Whether you’ve had a session with me in the past or have one coming up, you can order these as of right now!
If you wanna know more, comment ‘albums’ and all the info will be sent straight to your DMs 👇🏻
