Nursery Update. There's a bit of a story. Here's what's happened and is happening.
We've been waiting with bated breath to find out at a Council Assessment Panel if we can open the Retail Nursery. (it would have been approved straight away but there were complaints lodged and so it goes to a panel - very normal apparently)
We thought we were booked in for the 19th of October. But found out it wasn't put on the agenda and wouldn't go up again until the 16th of November, for the next time there's a meeting. Even then it's not certain that it will be that date and that it will even be approved.
Honestly, I'm so glad I have a resilient nature, brimming with positivity and hope and surrounded by a supportive crew!
Although I will admit to an emotional meltdown, when I found out that it wasn't the 19th of October, because we have kept the plants growing, (they look AMAZING!), we've kept growing more wonderful plants, and it's the perfect timing for gardening.
Regardless of the outcome, our love of plants is always going to be there, and we've been looking at ways to share our plants with the wider community. (anyone and everyone!)
We've had a few ideas marinating, and getting very excited to bring to you and most of australia, the plants that we've been growing from scratch, with all the joy that comes from being crazy plant people.
We're still hoping for a retail nursery...... whenever that happens and as well as that,

We will still be offering the Winter Woolies, but it’s going to bigger and better !!
The bar will be fully stocked, delicious food still supplied, the band will keep you up dancing the day away, a big screen so you can still watch the Apsley Cup without leaving the marquee, Fashions on the Field will still happen so frock up to be in the running for great prizes, bucking bull, jumping castle, face painting, good coffee and a few added extras we’ll let you know on the day 😉
So, jump on the bus (now running an hour later than originally advertised) and enjoy the party you were all looking forward to. It’s going to be fun!!!
