A day like this is not forgotten about, it's still heavy and it's still rears it's ugly head every so often.
I will be the first to admit I have a few good cries every now and again and I find myself diverting conversation away from "flood talk"

Today I will take the postive approach. Looking at how far our community has come. How proud I am of our team for showing up even when life is so turbulent with rebuilding and getting back to a sense of normality.

Please be kind and be patient, especially to our little ones who process things to differently to adults. Trauma looks different for them and we as a family are grateful for our amazing schools and all the help our babies are receiving. It'll be an ongoing and long journey for so many.

Thank you to those who have shown up and checked in.
There are two families who are in our thoughts. Big hugs today, and always x
