Photography- Disability disheartened (Eurbodalla NSW)
Feeling a bit disheartened today after receiving another rejection for a craft fair in Narooma NSW, when they advertise for more artist, but I got knocked back.
It’s tough not being recognized in the community or socializing with other artists because of my illness. Missing out on gatherings and opportunities for networking and growth can feel like massive setbacks. It's challenging to progress with my photography and be taken seriously in this community when I feel isolated and overlooked. It's disheartening to keep pushing forward and not being able to break through the barriers. It's a constant struggle to be seen and appreciated as an artist when you feel like you're on the outside looking in. Hoping for a change and for the chance to be recognized and valued in the arts community.
