Tandara Ponies offers young children Pony rides, Classes, Pat & play dates & Birthday parties. We are located in the pretty town of Frankford, Tasmania.
We currently have Three ponies in service. For Pony lead rides, Pony Parties, Photoshoots.

Monty is our newest star, and is a true Gentleman in every way. He is also our oldest member at 20 years young! Monte has been there done that and was abit of a little legend in the show circuit winning lots of ribbons in his heyday. We are honoured to have him on the Tandara Team.
❤ Felix our little fuzzy peach ❤
Felix is our smallest member at 8 hands tall. With his unusual colourings of Palomino and Appaloosa spots. He has the sweetest kindest nature you will ever find. Felix is perfect for our smaller clientele who have never been around or ridden a pony before. He is a true real life My Little Pony!
❤ Buddy our cheeky little unicorn ❤
His magical crystal blue eyes and his sweet little face makes him the perfect little unicorn model. He is a little cheeky and likes to have abit of fun. But is a real darling when it comes to children. His name suits him to a tea ‘Buddy really is your buddy for life’
All of our ponies are very friendly and well-behaved. They were selected due to their pleasant, patient, and reliable nature. They love the attention they receive at events and enjoy the company riding provides.
The welfare and comfort of our ponies is paramount at all times and are looked after like nothing else. Our ponies are bit-less and barefoot (how nature intended) And ponies will only be available for riding a few hours each day.
Tandara Ponies is a small business, owned and operated by Sharron Leigh. Sharron has been a long time equine enthusiast since the age of seven. Her areas of specialty include cross country, adult riding days, natural horsemanship and array of horsey clinics. Sharron’s passion for horses and love for working with children drive her to maintain a safe, fun and professional service that both clients and horses enjoy.
Tandara Ponies have full public liability insurance.
