Covid hit hard in the wedding industry and for me it was a bit more than just overwhelming, I was bombarded with postponement after postponement leaving all my weddings being bunched up one after the other. I felt myself losing my spark, I became generic and I couldn’t be as invested as I like to be, so a couple of years ago when we were in the midst of it all I put a hold on future bookings, I wanted to recoup and find the love again.
This wedding season coming up now has availability because of it and I am ready to get back into it doing it exactly how I love it, with time, dedication and love for every couple that I have the honour of marrying.
So if you are planning a wedding, wether it be a month from now or years down the track now is the perfect time to lock in your date.

400 MARRIED COUPLES….

Today I celebrated my 400th wedding.

How blessed am I that 800 people chose me to be their celebrant!

To say that it’s been an easy ride would have been true up until covid, from then on out there has been many breakdown moments, lots of stress, plenty of heartache and even times where I have thought about throwing it all in…

But I love what I do, and I love how I do it and I love how I am still learning and growing and evolving, yet I feel so confident in what I do.

Keep it real, keep it honest and let’s have fun, we each have individual relationships and we all love differently so embrace yours and make it you…

So this is the new normal….

2022 hey… who would have thought??

Rest assured I test before every wedding, just to keep us all safe.

God forbid the time the dreaded two lines arrive, rest assured here in the wedding industry of SA we have an amazing community of talented suppliers. Iv spent the morning messaging some of the celebrants I would trust my life with just checking in to make sure they each have my back, as I have theirs should we need to.

Let’s hope we don’t… 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Some changed iv made to how I run my business…

-online meetings (except rehearsal and ceremony)
-mandatory mask wearing at all times, rehearsal, ceremony etc… (ps I will take it off while I am talking)
-turning into a homebody and secluding myself (let’s face it those who know me know this is already true)

If you have any questions or want any reassurance I am here, though this is a tough time we will always pull together snd make it through

PEACE OUT 2021!!

What a year… congratulations to all of my 2021 couples. Condolences to all of my families who has lost someone near and dear.

This year has been a crazy whirlwind year full of highs and lows and everything in between.

I look forward to celebrating many more couples and celebrating many more lives next year.

This year for me has seen me return back to a full time celebrant taking on funerals as well as weddings, and I look forward to working hard next year.

I have loved every step of my celebrancy journey but there is no denying that the last few years has been tough, onwards and upwards from here.

I’m soooo excited!
As a family we are always so busy when we are together, working away gives us a lot of quality time together but it’s usually busy catching up with all around us.
