Officially opened by Premier Roger Cook and Hon Dr Tony Buti MLA, the Minister for Education; Aboriginal Affairs; Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, the event provided an opportunity for over 25 local service providers, government agencies, not-for-profits, and community groups to connect with the wider community in an impactful way.⁠

What a truly unique celebration it was to mark the grand opening of the newly upgraded Forrest Walk in Subiaco. ⁠

ATELIER – House of Events was proud to collaborate with the City of Subiaco on this vibrant project, creating an unforgettable evening to showcase the revitalised space. ⁠

Stand-out features of the Forrest Walk Grand Opening were the stunning floral installation by Freak Haus, which perfectly complemented the space’s charm. The installation, artfully arranged around a vintage car and the iconic Angel Chair sculpture, created a striking focal point that blended natural beauty with artistic flair. ⁠

The intricate florals and thoughtful design elements brought an added layer of elegance and character to this memorable community event.

Introducing our new Event Manager, Hayley Wynn.⁠

Hayley began her career in the Northern Territory, quickly making her mark in the event industry. Her diverse background spans a wide range of events, from cocktail and gin festivals to large-scale music festivals, touring shows, corporate events, and weddings.⁠
⁠
Hayley’s ability to craft impactful and memorable experiences has earned her recognition as the 2023 NT Event Manager of the Year, a testament to her precision, creativity, and distinctive approach to event ex*****on.⁠
⁠
Beyond event management, Hayley has proudly represented Tourism NT as part of the Work | Stay | Play campaign over in the UK & Ireland, an initiative by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade to address skill shortages and attract people to live and work in the Northern Territory. Her contributions to the tourism and hospitality sector were also recognised with her selection as a finalist for the 2024 Young Achiever Awards.⁠

Since joining ATELIER – House of Events, Hayley has played a key role in high-profile projects including Meet the Buyer 2024 for Buy West Eat Best, and the United Cup 2025 Multicultural Festival for Tourism WA and Tennis Australia, managing the festival programming, including cultural performances and entertainment to enhance the overall patron experience.⁠

With a series of events designed for staff, stakeholders, and the wider community, our team was entrusted with end-to-end event management, creative direction, and event styling. ⁠

Meet the Buyer 2024, presented by Buy West Eat Best for DPIRD, brought together more than 660 exhibitor representatives, showcasing Western Australia’s local food and beverage excellence. Exhibitors showcased more than 550 product lines to supply chain delegates representing various sectors of the industry.⁠
⁠
Over the last four years, Meet the Buyer has provided a powerful showcase to over 2,000 brands and product lines. This premier exhibition-style trade day highlighted the excellence of Western Australia’s local food and beverage industries, connecting hundreds of retail and hospitality professionals with quality products sourced and processed locally.⁠
⁠
As the largest summit for WA food and beverage producers, the event featured over 80 exhibitors engaging with more than 500 delegates to showcase their unique offerings.⁠

For the fourth year, ATELIER – House of Events was once again engaged in program development, event management, exhibitor coordination, website design, and enhancing the guest experience, underscoring our commitment to supporting the diverse talents within the local industry.

ATELIER - House of Events collaborated with the City of Subiaco to launch the newly upgraded Forrest Walk, a revitalized space designed to foster community connection and walkability between Rokeby Road and Rowland Street.⁠
⁠
This vibrant space now features integrated public artwork by artist Jahne Rees, and offers a dynamic area for future events and community activities and a spot to simply enjoy Subiaco’s charm.⁠
