Many thanks to @15.trees.au for donating a wonderful variety of natives that got planted out by some speedy handed Camberwell year 7 students two Friday’s ago. These saplings will be a massive help in bringing shade and wind break to our sparse and dry south field crops in the years to come. 🌱

Feeling a lot of gratitude for the community around Common Ground Project that have been out to volunteer on Tuesdays across 2024.

Volunteer hours make up so much of our community sector and we’re so grateful for the consistent, passionate and uplifting people that come through our farm and help out on some big, big harvest days, across many different weather patterns!

We’ve loved feeding you and sharing conversations over lunch, Tuesdays are a deeply nourishing day for us.

In 2025, we’re looking for a volunteer for our volunteers, someone who might be looking to volunteer on a Tuesday but aren’t so inclined toward farming, but are savvy in a kitchen and willing to learn how to wrangle the coffee machine. You’ll be preparing morning tea for the vollies, making them coffee and organising lunch, cleaning up and helping out with Staying Grounded kitchen program if they’re in the kitchen too.

If you’re interested in this idea, go to our careers webpage and have a read, we would happily take a rotation of a few people also.
