📢 Important Announcement: Change of Venue for Saturday’s Race Meeting

We regret to inform you that, despite our best efforts, a decision was made this morning in conjunction with Racing SA that our racing surface is not at the appropriate standard for this Saturday's race meeting.

While this is disappointing news, the safety and well-being of all participants remain our top priority.

🎟 Ticket Refunds:
We are working with Moshtix to process refunds for all tickets purchased. You will receive a notification regarding your refund shortly.

💖 Fundraising Update:
We are committed to supporting the McGrath Foundation and are exploring options to transfer our planned fundraising activities to Saturday, January 18, 2025.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your continued support. We’ll provide further updates as soon as possible.

🚨 Change of Venue Saturday 4/1/25 🚨
Due to complications with the irrigation system over the Xmas period that has impacted the condition of the racing surface, a decision has been made to transfer the Gawler meeting this Saturday to Murray Bridge.

Acceptance time has now been extended until 10am. 2100m races will now be 2000m, 1700m now 1600m and 1500m now 1400m.

We will continue to monitor the weather in regard to the current heat forecast.

Last year, the Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club proudly raised over $3,000 through hospitality ticket sales, raffle proceeds, and patron donations for the McGrath Foundation. This year, we’re going even bigger!
