Goodbye my friend, my Shodai, my Geelong Cats fanatic, ladybug loving, inspirational mentor. Today conducting your funeral in the church your Dad was Minister at, in the brightest coloured dress I own, was not only a privilege and honour, it was perfect in every way, just the way you hoped it would be. Thank you for working with me over the last few months of your time here on Earth to bring today to life. Enjoy God's garden, we know he only takes the best.

Lucky for me (and my couples) I still love every single wedding that I do.... just as though it was my first way back in 2009!
It's not every day you get to celebrate your nieces wedding in Bali 🤍🧡🏝 which could have very well been the greatest day and night of all of our lives!
When your role as a celebrant cements a friendship that you know will be life long..... marrying two soul mates and welcoming 2 new besties into your life..... it doesn't get much better than this!

There truly is the perfect celebrant for every couple and as fate would have it, it sounds like D+B found theirs in me!
I don't always get the chance to say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to my couples... but luckily when you have a private, intimate wedding like this one on a Monday at 11am with 7 guests....I had all the time I needed to thank them from the bottom of my heart. No 2 ceremonies are ever the same but this one will forever stay with me as one of my greatest privileges in delivering. 🩷

Sometimes life works in mysterious ways but one thing I'm certain of is I have definitely been a part of peoples lives in the past for a season and over time that season has turned into a reason..... so that one day our paths could cross again but this time so I could be there celebrant!
A huge shout out to for letting me borrow her P.A when mine died which includes the snazzy wind sock for the mic which you definitely need from time to time! The importance of having a tribe of like-minded Celebrants around you to help you out when you're in a tricky spot. Covid absolutely taught us all that! I couldn't do what I do with such confidence if it wasn't for my by my side amongst a long list of trusted Celebrants on speed dial on my phone not to mention the 140+ in the Facebook group I manage! They might be my competitors but when you need them most they are your allies.
