Ebonie and I had a wonderful time face painting at the Geelong's Market4Heartkids featuring Two feet & Heartbeat Walk event on Sunday! Thank you to everyone who came out to support such a great cause. It was a bit of a crazy weekend with the rain causing a last-minute location change, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a fun morning.

A big thank you to the Mt Duneed Men's Shed for sponsoring us and allowing us to provide free face painting for everyone!

Ebonie and I didn’t get a chance to take any photos, so we’re very lucky that Aww Snap Photo Booth shared some great shots from the day!

I quite often have a very curious little helper trying to “assist” with invoices, emails and messages which makes running a small business a real challenge. Most admin tasks happen on the floor, surrounded by toys and a tiny someone constantly trying to grab the laptop or commando-crawl towards the doggy door. It’s definitely not the easiest way to do invoices, so I’m often behind.

Some days are chaotic and others are productive, so thank you for your patience with messages and emails. I do my best to reply quickly, but sometimes I can’t respond until the evening and by then you’ll usually find me asleep on the couch which means replies are delayed again. Every now and then a message slips through the cracks, so I really appreciate your gentle follow-ups.

I love being part of so many special celebrations and events, and I’m so grateful for everyone who welcomes me to share joy and smiles.

And just like that, the school holidays at All 4 Kids Playcentre are finished.

Tuesday at All 4 Kids Playcentre was a blast as usual! I got to paint 60 smiling faces and it was great to see some that I have painted before.

I'll be back again tomorrow (Friday) 10am- 1pm for our last session of the holidays.

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve been caring for and creating memories with the children and families of Geelong for 10 years!

I first started Brittany’s Babysitting while studying childcare. It gave me experience, a way to make a living and most importantly, I just loved working with children. Over the years, my business has grown into so much more than just babysitting.

For a long time, people would ask if I actually did parties or if it was just babysitting. I’ve even had people suggest I should take a page out of the Jim’s book and split everything up into Brittany’s Babysitting, Brittany’s Face Painting, Brittany’s Princess Parties, and so on ... but I’ve built something special under this name and didn’t want to start fresh.

So instead of a total change, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Brittany's Babysitting and Party Entertainment! I’ll still be known as Brittany’s Babysitting for short and my logo and branding will stay familiar, just with a little difference (you may have already spotted some changes over the past few months).

Thank you to every single one of you who’s supported me, whether you’ve been here for 10 years or 10 days. This journey means so much to me, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead!

Thursday at All 4 Kids Playcentre was much busier than Monday! I painted just over 50 kids.

Our first Swiftie school holiday session at Fairies Door was such a blast!
We made friendship bracelets, listened to Taylor’s music, dressed up for photos and these Swifties were extra lucky, they each got two glitter tattoos instead of the usual one!

Monday at All 4 Kids Playcentre was much quieter than I’m used to (I think everyone was at the Cats footy training!).

Thank you to everyone who came and got their faces or arms painted! It was especially great to see the young at heart join in too. A highlight was painting a Nanna who was just as excited as the kids!

I’ll be back again tomorrow (Thursday) from 10am - 1pm. Hope to see you there!

Happy 6th Birthday Fiia!
The Unicorn Princess and Mermaid Princess had such a magical time celebrating with you!

Fiia's party was an inclusive celebration with many of the children being deaf or hearing impaired, the princesses made sure everyone could join in by using basic Auslan and visuals during the face painting.

Thank you for having us be part of such a special day!

Last holidays I painted over 215 faces in 3 days (that’s about 2.5 minutes per child!). Let’s see if we can beat that incredible record these holidays.

My Story

Hi my name is Brittany and I'm a 23 year old non smoker/drinker pet friendly early childhood educator that has a passion for caring for and educating children as well as making them smile. I have had over 7 months experience in child care centres and kindergartens in all rooms. I have also been hosting children's parties since 2014 and I have been babysitting for around 4 years with experience with children aged from 7 weeks and up until 15 years.
