I met so many lovely families at the community fete at Mercy Health Rice Village on Saturday.

Ebonie and I had a wonderful time face painting at the Geelong's Market4Heartkids featuring Two feet & Heartbeat Walk event on Sunday! Thank you to everyone who came out to support such a great cause. It was a bit of a crazy weekend with the rain causing a last-minute location change, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a fun morning.

A big thank you to the Mt Duneed Men's Shed for sponsoring us and allowing us to provide free face painting for everyone!

Ebonie and I didn’t get a chance to take any photos, so we’re very lucky that Aww Snap Photo Booth shared some great shots from the day!

I quite often have a very curious little helper trying to “assist” with invoices, emails and messages which makes running a small business a real challenge. Most admin tasks happen on the floor, surrounded by toys and a tiny someone constantly trying to grab the laptop or commando-crawl towards the doggy door. It’s definitely not the easiest way to do invoices, so I’m often behind.

Some days are chaotic and others are productive, so thank you for your patience with messages and emails. I do my best to reply quickly, but sometimes I can’t respond until the evening and by then you’ll usually find me asleep on the couch which means replies are delayed again. Every now and then a message slips through the cracks, so I really appreciate your gentle follow-ups.

I love being part of so many special celebrations and events, and I’m so grateful for everyone who welcomes me to share joy and smiles.

My new stickers and business cards have arrived!
Every child that gets painted or glittered receives a sticker. This helps me keep track of how many children I’ve painted or glittered and it’s also a fun way to spread the word about my services.

I’m still not sold on my business cards but I love how convenient the QR code is. It links to my Linktree which has all my socials, enquiry forms and other useful information like safe removal instructions for face paint and glitter tattoos.

Tuesday at All 4 Kids Playcentre was a blast as usual! I got to paint 60 smiling faces and it was great to see some that I have painted before.

I'll be back again tomorrow (Friday) 10am- 1pm for our last session of the holidays.

My Story

Hi my name is Brittany and I'm a 23 year old non smoker/drinker pet friendly early childhood educator that has a passion for caring for and educating children as well as making them smile. I have had over 7 months experience in child care centres and kindergartens in all rooms. I have also been hosting children's parties since 2014 and I have been babysitting for around 4 years with experience with children aged from 7 weeks and up until 15 years.
