Mark and Susannah have been together for a few years, and yesterday, Mark declared his love and commitment to Susannah in a private and suprise commitment ceremony on the beautiful Point Addis Beach.

Thanks for having me, I wish you both a life of love, friendship, and happiness.

I had the pleasure of officiating for the gorgeous Mark & Sharon yesterday surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The love and friendship these too have for one another is beautiful to see.
A light hearted ceremony with plenty of laughs and lots of love. It's always a little extra special when you have a personal connection and I loved being able to put this together having known Shaz since I befriended her beautiful daughter 36 years ago.

Happy travels and a life full of beautiful things are on the cards for these two.

26.03.22 RORY & KIYANA

It was love at 1st sight for Rory when he went back to his best friend's house and met her sister Kiyana.
It took her a little longer to see what was right in front of her but after a year of going out together Kiyana beat him to the punch and popped the question to Rory.

On Saturday they were married in the presence of their family and friends at the magnificent Coagulac House.

These guys became like family to me from the get go (I married Kiyanas sister Haisha to Josh 4 months ago) and I had an absolute blast.

Staying on as for the rest of the party, joined by the most awesome vendors, how could I not have an amazing night.

I don't usually spend so much time in the booth but I was working with an awesome crew, saw my highschool science teacher and even families I went to high school with. That and the love from Kiyana Hodgson & Rory & all their family it is one I won't forget.

ASH & EM...again 11.3.22

You may remember these 2 impeccable women. I had the honour of marrying them last October. A wedding put together in a short time to ensure Ash's mum Dianne could be there before she passed away.

Yesterday on Ahleas mums birth date, & had their wedding again (no legals this time) and celebrated their wedding as originally planned.

Staged at the beautiful and joined by .studio to take all their stunning snaps the pair celebrated in style.

This time we were able to share their story. My favourite part the fake proposal to snag free drinks which then turned into a real one.

Yesterday I had a honour of officiating for the most divine couple Jacobus and .mckay at the most stunning venue .

Accompanied by with all the tunes and to capture the snaps it was a superb and special event.

The love and respect and honesty shared between Jacobus and Tori was beautiful to witness and their vows, well WOW.

EB & JAKE

What a way to close out my wedding duties for 2021 celebrating the love of Eb and Jake.

I've had the pleasure of knowing these 2 for about 5 years and we have been talking about their wedding for about 4 of those, but babes and houses came 1st and this was finally their year.
Then, the big ole Covid happened and had their September wedding canned but with pure determination Eb & Jake were getting hitched this year and made a December wedding happen.

Surrounded by the most amazing group of people, their friends and family, Eb and Jake got hitched at
They celebrated their love for each other, their family and the life they live.

I am absolutely honoured to have officiated for these wonderful humans and so grateful they chose me to be their celebrant.

Cheers to a continued life, full of family, love, laughter and happiness.

Congratulations to Miranda and Zac who were married yesterday at Lara Golf Course.
Zac knew he met his match on the day of their very 1st date and text Miranda later that night telling her, he loved her. They have been together ever since!
They have smashed out some pretty impressive goals so far in their time together and I wish them all the very best for their life together as husband and wife.
Their backdrop was hand made macrame made by Zac's mum Jodie and styling was put together by a close friend Narelle.
Nicola from was there to capture their pics and she was an absolute delight to work with.

ASHLEA & EMMA and Diane.

16.10.2021

I first met Ashlea and Emma on the 8th October. We spoke just the day before when Ashlea called because they needed a celebrant and ASAP. It was Ashlea’s parents who had passed on my number. Ashlea's mum Diane had been friends with my mum Mandy since they were in their 20’s.

Although they had planned a wedding for March 2022, Ashlea & Emma were hoping to now get married as soon as possible as Diane had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

It was important to Ashlea and Emma to have Diane at their special day, so we started their paperwork and began the hustle to get the legal requirements met so Ashlea and Emma could get married on October 30th.

Unfortunately the same day Diane was back in hospital and within days the doctors advised Diane’s condition was worsening and her time here, would be less than expected.

On Thursday it was decided to move the ceremony to Saturday, legal or not and on Friday, Ashlea and Emma were granted a shortening of time by BDM to move their wedding forward. Their family gathered with force to ensure Ashlea and Emma and Diane would have a wedding to remember.

On Saturday 16th October, Ashlea was walked down the aisle by her mum Diane and dad Peter to where Emma stood, tears in her eyes and the biggest smile on her face.

Ashlea and Emma shared their legal vows in front of their immediate families becoming partners for life, Wife and Wife.

It was a beautiful moment of reflection, love and creating a memory for everyone involved and a moment Ashlea and Emma can treasure for eternity.

Following the ceremony there were more tears, this time from me. Diane gifted me a necklace to say thank you for my part in getting the girls married in her presence.

I will forever be grateful the girls reached out and I was able to be their celebrant. I look forward to doing it again in March next year when they can celebrate with all their friends and family.

I will also be forever grateful I was able to give Diane a hug, a hug that was from me but also from my Mum.

Diane lost her battle with cancer yesterday, October 25th 2021.

My heart goes out, to Ashlea and Emma, Peter and their entire family at this sad time.

Today I had the pleasure of marrying John and Shirley.

John and Shirl met after they moved into the same lifestyle village and their shared love of travelling brought them together.

Shirley and I worked together at this time when she met John, so when I got an email about their plan to get married I was delighted to be the one officiating.

Their story just shows you its never too late to find love.

Congratulations John and Shirl.

Holly and Matt first met at school when studying Animal Studies but reconnected a couple of years later on you guessed it, Tinder.

Since then they have had Parker their son and added a whole lot of animals to their clan, including cats, sheep, alpacas and even a donkey.

Surrounded by their friends and family on Sunday, inside the beautiful Mt Duneed Estate (because it was just tooooo cold to be out in the Olive Garden) Matt and Holly got hitched.

Sarah Leckey, Celebrant in training was also onboard who took some snaps for me and got to experience a wedding ceremony in the eyes of a celebrant.

It was absolutely fantastic to work with Ashleigh Kennedy Photography again. One of my absolute favs.
