Imagine our surprise when we had 4 young men come into the store on Wednesday to organise flowers for their friends wedding.......that day!
Congratulations to Suresh and Anisha, who had a ceremony at Balyang Sanctuary with family and friends on the phone from overseas to be a part of the celebration.

P.S. Pink wedding dresses are a thing!

Eight years ago, we made the decision to to sell only Australian grown, seasonal flowers in our store.

The Foreign Correspondent episode aired last night highlights the devastating effect of imported flowers on the environment and those who grow them.

50% of flowers sold in Australia are imported.

Wherever you are buying your flowers (florists, supermarkets, roadside sellers or fruit shops) ask this question…….”where are these flowers grown”.

Cymbidium orchids are one of the most grand winter flowers!

We've just received a delivery of cymbidum orchid plants that have two flower spikes that will produce 8-12 long lasting blooms presented in a white ceramic pot.

These flowering plants can be bought indoors while their flowers are blooming, place them in a bright, cool space with generous watering and misting. When they have finished flowering (2-3 months) the flower stalk can be cut down to the base and placed outdoors in full sun to re-flower the following winter.

We helped the with the official opening ceremony last week by creating a River Redgum garland for the great unveiling.

It is a beautiful, open, interactive space that adds so much to our city.
