MEET CAL

He really needs no introduction to the wedding world because Cal is a highly sought after musician and DJ around these parts for no other reason than his pure talent and professionalism.

If you are lucky enough to snap Cal up for your elopement then you are going to be in for treat! We suggest booking a weekday elopement if you are wanting to rock some live music, as this guy is probably booked for weekend weddings for the next 50 years. It’s still worth a try though!

If you are keen on having zero guests at your elopement, Cal can act as a witness alongside your photographer too. Imagine beach, vows, shoes off, Cal playing your fave songs, champagne popping, romance aplenty and a perfect day, all about you. Geez, that sounds good!

We still pinch ourselves that we scored this wonderful human .celebrant to be part of our Big Love Crew a few years back and we couldn’t picture the team without her in it.

Zena not only brings a warm, calming, humorous, witty and professional vibe to every elopement but is also a wealth of knowledge and support for us behind the scenes when it comes to business guidance, general life guidance and just a good chinwag when needed!

MEET RACHAEL!

This amazing woman burst into our lives like a comet earlier this year and we had no idea just how much we needed this beautiful energy in our lives until it engulfed us like a warm hug (be warned, Rach is a hugger and it’s the best!). As your photographer , she brings a warmth, calmness, huge smile and genuineness to every elopement. She will embrace all the crazy ideas you might have and it will always be a big YES from her. She gets excited about the little moments she can capture through the lens for your beautiful day and you’ll walk away from the day wondering why you were ever nervous about portraits. Be careful, you may also end up wanting to be besties with her after meeting her. You’ll see why once you meet her! Love you Rach and thank you for jumping in and being the best human!

We all walked away from Nyssa and Jayden’s epic elopement in The Redwoods Otways thinking it was the most fun we’d ever had. The vibes were high and these two were laughing and joking their way through the ceremony and photos the entire time.

But a sneaky video captured those raw, beautiful, emotional moments in between that remind you as to why you were choosing your person in the first place. Rain, hail or shine, they’d marry each other again and again.

Oh and thanks for sending all those couples our way so we can rock more fab elopements like this 💋

Where to start with this amazing human Verity 💙

Not only does Verity capture the beautiful moments through the lens like it’s nobody’s business, she brings the ultimate love vibe to put anyone at ease in an instant and has the entire guest list smiling from ear to ear. Kids LOVE her, Grandmas fall for her instant charm and she makes every single couple feel amazing (and dare I say they even enjoy the process of having their photos taken when Verity is in charge!). Her photos are beautiful and she’ll capture the moments you didn’t even know were happening when you were too busy soaking up those married feels.

We pinch ourselves on the daily that we get to work with this freaking awesome human and every single couple is in the safest of hands with Verity in their corner cheering them on.

We are Jessie and Jake. We both work in the wedding industry, and love it to pieces. We love love, and we love weddings. Given that so many people are asking for a smaller, less-fuss way to get married, we have combined our skills to offer elopement services, as one package.

Jessie does the celebrant thang, and Jake does the photography thang. Together we create simple, beautiful elopements for couples that just want to commit to a life together, without a massive wedding experience.
