There has been some speculation online inregards to why we closed down our business. I will clarify our reasons so that those who find the need to gossip or post incorrect information are now informed-
We did not close down because we are struggling and times are tough.
We did not close down due to covid-19.
We did not sell our business to new owners.
After having a break from the business due to social distancing bans, we were finally able to spend some time with our kids on a weekend. We could enjoy life without the stress of running a business and working 24/7, and it was a breathe of fresh air. We simply decided that we were ready for a more simpler way of life with less stress and closing down the business was the way to achieve this. I hope this clarifies any confusion people may have had on the matter.

*UPDATE*
After 6+ years in business, we have made the tough decision not to reopen 5 Wishes Geelong. We have enjoyed providing fun to thousands of parties and events over the years, and thankyou, for being part of this amazing journey! When we created this business, our goal was to be different, unique and offer things people had never seen before in Geelong or Australia for that matter. We achieved this by bringing so many firsts to this country in party hire and bursting life into this industry with exciting new concepts and hire items. It has been fun, challenging, rewarding, heartbreaking and tough all at the same time. We will miss all our loyal customers, and thank you again for your continued support over the years. All of our hire items are now for sale on Gumtree, (some things have already sold) if anyone is interested in purchasing, feel free to send us an inbox. Onwards and upwards to our next adventure!

UPDATE-
We have received quite a few enquiries in the last week inregards to hires. We are still closed and will remain closed for the entirety of this pandemic, however long that will be. This virus is so infectious and dangerous that we will not risk anyone's health or safety including our own. There is no way possible to clean equipment, in, out, top, bottom etc to ensure it was a virus free environment. The amount of cleaning, washing, disinfecting that would be required and the time and cost to do so, outweighs being open for business as it would not be profitable. If our equipment was to come into contact with the virus, whilst being hired, we have no way to guarantee that we could 100% eradicate it from the hired products, nor do we wish to subject our family to the risk of contracting the virus. We would not feel comfortable hiring equipment due to the reasons listed above and hope you can all understand.

We had a few of the same castles booked out multiple times over the long weekend. We had hires from Friday through to today, so no relaxing break for us. The next few weeks are jam packed with bookings and availability is very limited. Inbox if you wish to book any equipment for 2020.
