NAIDOC WEEK 🌻
I set up a little small world invitation at kindy this week to celebrate NAIDOC week. This is such a special week in the calendar and I can’t wait to witness the children playing in this space today. ❤️

BEE PROVOCATION TABLE 🌻
We have LOVED exploring the fascinating world of bees at kindy the past few weeks, and since this provocation table will be taken down tomorrow as I put up one for World Ocean Day, I thought it should have a place on the grid! 🌻

ZANY SCIENCE WEEK 💫🌈☀️
What a fun theme this week as we explore different experiments and scientific ideas! From dinosaurs, to outer space, fizzy chemical reactions, disappearing packing peanuts, chia slime, arts, crafts, oil and water, shapes, X-rays, painting, ‘bleeding’ colour mixing, kinetic sand, water play … it’s all here!!!

SALT & ICE PLAY 🦭🐋🐟
This was so much fun yesterday at class. I simply froze various citrus, mint leaves, and also some aquatic animals in ice and the children added salt to the ice to help it melt. Such an easy set up but so much fun!!
It also provided a wonderful opportunity to engage our sense of smell. 🐟🐋 🦀🐙
