Our Lower Clarence Play N Yarn facilitator and Community Preschool Engagement Worker has been hard at it getting this day planned!

We have some great activities for children aged 0-5 years, including weaving, clay making, petting zoo, jumping castle and more!

The flyer for the Clarence Valley Close the Gap Day 2022. The CVCTG committee have decided the theme for the event is - Resilience - the courage to come back.

We are beyond excited to re-establish this annual event after COVID-19 has restricted the previous 2 years.

The day will feature activities for all ages between 0-18years performed by local service providers. Music and entertainment will be on the day.

There will be an Elders area over looking the entire day.

Students invited as part of the school will recieve a shirt on the day.

For community shirts, hoodies, shorts and bags will be available to purchase on the day. There will also be a canteen gazebo selling soft drinks, lollies and other snacks.

All funds raised on the day will go to CVCTG23

closing the Gap - it’s everyone’s business

Well we’ve had to postpone tomorrow due to the flooding.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: This event has been postponed; new date to be published ASAP.

Everyone welcome -- A free event for all!!!

Come along to pet and feed the animals and get your face painted. There will be a baby alpaca, little lambs, baby goats, chickens, ducks and a piglet.

There will also be water and fresh fruit supplied for all.

CRANES in collaboration with Mudyala, Nungera & Clarence Valley Council are happy to bring this little petting zoo to the Lower Clarence.

Day to open with a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony & Cultural Dance. Aagal Yaluuwi Creations will be there providing some cultural knowledge to all.
