We are incredibly fortunate to have been given the opportunity to host a masterclass at this stunning location! is an environmentally sustainable and architecturally designed food, art and nature centre in the heart of Tamborine Mountain, high in the Gold Coast hinterland.

If you’re interested in modern and ancient cooking techniques, sustainable practices, experiencing the unique flavours of Australia’s native ingredients and food provenance, as well as expanding your cooking knowledge -
Come join us for our Beef and Fire masterclass!
You will learn how to prepare and age Black Angus prime cuts, also utilising the secondary cuts, with hands on guidance to master the art of cooking over timber. Our chefs will guide participants in creating succulent meats and perfect accompanying side dishes and sauces.
We will be using ethnically farmed Black Angus and biodynamic vegetables from our Scenic Rim farmers.

Come for a beautiful scenic drive up to Tamborine Mountain in the morning, grab a coffee and a light breakfast from then head to our masterclass a few metres away at ‘The Back Room’ where our chefs are ready to meet you for a Saturday lunch well spent!

Our friends at are celebrating their birthday and Embers Wood Fire Dining will be cooking on their lawn using their amazing baked goods and filling them with lamb smash burgers and raclette cheese dripping over coals onto there fresh baked baguettes 🤤 🤤

Our great friends from Embers wood fire dining formally head chef from Spicers Retreats Hiddenvale and Beachmont Estate have created an amazing culinary experience and we can’t wait to share it with you all.

***reminder***

Seating is limited so plz don’t forget to through a picnic rug in the car, in case we’re full at your time of arrival the beautiful ascot park is only 10m away which is a great place to enjoy an afternoon / evening picnic with friends, family and pets.

Our Daily Double Ascot cocktail and wine list will be available for all to enjoy.

Drink promos, prizes and more will be happening throughout the night.

We're back at it again and it's time for Round 2 of our "Street Food Series"

After such a successful event a fortnight ago we couldn't wait to bring you the next round of our street food series.

Our great friends from Embers wood fire dining will be back at it again with their charcoal and wood fired BBQ's showcasing some amazing local produce from the Scenic Rim.

*NOTE* No bookings required, However there's limited seating within our garden courtyard area but don't worry, The beautiful Ascot Park is only 10m away and makes for a fantastic place for an afternoon / early evening picnic with family, friends and pets. Don't forget your picnic rugs, there's also a great playground for the kids and public toilets.

Our carefully crafted wine list showing Australian, NZ, French and Italian wines will be available along with our delicious cocktail menu, cold beers and a range of non-alcoholic beverages.
