What’s the value of using a softbox in studio photography?

A secret that portrait, product and commercial photographers have long known: A softbox diffuses the light into a pleasing soft, even light. When used properly, it reduces harsh shadows…

An important distinction between small and large softboxes is the way that large softboxes cover the entire subject with light. Larger softboxes work well for portraiture photography or large areas as they produce softer lighting with more gradual transitions between light and shadow.

Today we had the pleasure in shooting a 4min green screen reel for the Principal of Westbourne Grammar School (VIC), Adrian Camm. In readiness for the creation of his avatar to be used in the schools roll out of some very exciting technology to support their online educational programs.

Up from Victoria on a working holiday. Adrian had an extremely tight deadline and turnaround for this service…we were so pleased we were able to deliver…✅
