What an amazing day the inaugural Gold Coast Wedding Trail was!

On the southern end of our GC Trail was a private country estate located just a few kilometres from central Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. You will love their farm sized portions, in-house paddock to plate menu and 12 midnight liquor license!

The biggest thing for me is that you feel super comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, so I make sure to keep things laid-back and easy-going. Each wedding is unique, and I love highlighting the little quirks and personalities of you both + all your guests. It’s those little moments that make your wedding day truly special and I want to make sure they’re all captured!

From the first time we chat to the final delivery of your gallery it will all be with myself, Sam! I’ll be there to help you along your planning journey with as little or as much help as you need. I make a photography timeline for every couple and offer more than just the photography on the day!

I absolutely love getting to know my clients and their unique love stories. My experience as a teacher also means that I am a natural in front of a crowd, making sure your wedding ceremony runs smoothly while ensuring that your guests feel comfortable and focus on YOU. I believe the best ceremonies are authentic ones.

With my attention to detail and warm personality, I make sure that even the little things matter, creating a wedding ceremony that is truly inspired. As a dance teacher, I am also able to cater to even those with two-left feet, teaching first dance lessons ensuring we create memories that will last a lifetime 💍

I’m the Heather behind Hitched by Heather. Who would’ve known?! And yes, I’m a sappy mess when it comes to love. Hand on heart, weddings are my absolute jam…actually, let’s swap jam with caramelised onion chutney, but you get my drift.

I’ve been ever-so-fortunate to attend quite a number of weddings, funerals and significant life events over the years, as well as having the opportunity to MC at loads. Harassed by my family and friends (a.k.a. die-hard fans), I discovered my life’s calling and true passion in life – being a celebrant who’s a bit quirky, off-centre, loud and self-proclaimed barrel of laughs, a role that allows me to be 100% authentically ME while celebrating L-O-V-E. Best life ever!

Besides you, your love and your wedding, I’m a sucker for:
• Sauv Blanc, accompanied by a cranberry and almond cracker that’s piled high with blue vein cheese with caramelised onion chutney. Delish!
