My first wedding of 2025 & what a start to the year 🔥

STEPHANIE & MITCHELL 🩵 11 January 2025

Steph fell in love with Mitchell quickly and completely…

Which became known quite early when one day Mitchell was doing some uni work in his room and she popped in to say goodbye…

Except, instead of “Goodbye,” Steph said, “I love you.” 😳

Mitchell says her eyes grew wide, right away 😁 they both laughed and Steph made a swift exit! She was mortified 🙈

She came home that afternoon and told Mitchell she loved him - for real - no accident this time! 🥰

I loved sharing this cute and funny glimpse of Steph and Mitchell’s early days with their family and friends!

Maria was amazing, she made the whole process so seamless. We were planning the whole thing for 8 weeks and from beginning to end she was a dream to work with.

All our guests commented on how great our celebrant was. I love that we got to meet Maria before the day and she really got to know our story and make sure all the details were correct.

The structure and flow of our ceremony was great and she even let us change some things last minute as our rings weren’t going to come in time.

We love her bubbly, caring and professional personality from beginning to end and she support us throughout the whole process of the day.

She responded to all our questions and was prompt at responding and so reliable.

If we got married again tomorrow I would 100% use Maria, maybe a vow renewal is already on the card.

At the end of your ceremony, right before I re-introduce you to your family & friends, l cover a few final housekeeping points with your lovely guests.

These are always personalised to you and your day, but could include:

❣️ Clear instructions for throwing confetti for epic exit photos

❣️ Time and location of your big group photo following the ceremony

❣️ Where and when your thirsty guests can grab a drink / details around your post-ceremony plans

❣️ Your reception start time

❣️ Guidelines to follow you down the aisle and meet you for hugs and congratulations to avoid a potential shamozzle

❣️ Finally - I ask them to be upstanding for the moment they’ve all been waiting for… Your first official Married AF introduction!

DAPHNE & AMY ❤️‍🔥

At this beautiful wedding, it was my pleasure to take Daph & Amy’s guests back to a time when Amy was single and just enjoying living life on her own terms – she had made the recent decision that she didn’t want to spend time dating.

She decided, with her faith in the universe, that she was going to just do “her” and the right person would come along when the time was right.

So, she was on Hinge, about to hit DELETE, when a profile popped up and caught her eye. This profile described their love of story-driven single player video games...

“WOW,” Amy thought, “what are the chances?”

She continued to read the profile, “I love to watch film analysis videos.”

That’s right ladies and gents, it didn’t say “walks on the beach” or “listening to music.” Story-driven single player games. And film analysis videos.

Amy reached out and asked her what her favourites were. Of course, the profile belonged to none other than the beautiful Daphne Hauri.

Jess and Albert first crossed paths as colleagues at the Meat Department of Woolworths Mullumbimby. They got along well and the banter was strong right away 💪

One afternoon, Albert texted Jess to meet him at Tweed City Gloria Jeans for a coffee. Jess, who thought the meeting was work-related and must be very important, can still recall driving carefully in the torrential rain. She survived the downpour and sat across the table from Albert.

“Do you like me?” Albert asked her. He didn’t mince his words that’s for sure 😜

Jess was stunned!

The two ended up chatting away for hours – the shops were shutting by the time they finally decided to leave!

13 years on, it was my pleasure to marry Jess and Albert, in front of their beautiful family and friends, at the stunning Coorabel Estate. A perfect day and night for a wonderful couple - I adore you guys!!! ❤️‍🔥

What an end to 2024! On Friday night, I had the absolute privilege of marrying two of my dear friends 🫶

At this 30th birthday turned surprise wedding, it was my honour to officiate the marriage of two amazing humans, my beautiful friends, Whitney & Cody 🥰 the reaction from their guests was absolutely wild, such a fun ceremony & way to say, “I do.” 🔥

Congratulations to this AMAZING couple - you’re absolutely made for each other. Wishing you so much love and happiness. Love you guys ❤️

Jack was so touched that Jess welcomed him into her beautiful little life. He remembers it like it was yesterday. Winnie shuffling around the house in her sleepsuit, taking her on bike-rides, and swims in the Pottsville Creek. Simple times. And a new world that he felt so lucky to have found himself a part of.

He remembers so fondly the moment the boys were born. Jack recalls being blown away by the love he had for them, and Jess. It was almost as good as when he and Jess watched Collingwood win the Grand Final at the MCG last year! Just kidding – they were on par 😜

A romantic & fun ceremony for the beautiful Jess & Jack. It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate the love of this amazing family.

🔥 DANCE & SIP DATE NIGHT 🔥

Last night I hosted my first ever Dance & Sip Date Night 💃🕺 and WOW it was EPIC!

A special thank you to the talented & beautiful Jo Suter from for teaching us a few moves for a simple & gorgeous first dance! You were amazing! Such a pleasure to be your bride on the d-floor 😄

Thank you, of course, to my amazing couples (not all pictured here) who came along, left their comfort zones & had some fun! Adore you guys 🪩🫶

Most unexpected takeaway for me - getting to know my lovely couples in a way that ceremony-planning doesn’t afford us. LOVE!

We probably had a little too much fun, I forgot to take photos 😁 Thanks again to all involved 🤍

After two separate nights out on the town, Sean and Bridget were coincidentally both feeling a little worse for wear when they arrived to their very first date at the Charming Squire. Bridget had plans to see Mary Poppins at QPAC afterwards with her bestie, Grace, which Sean suspected was just a clever exit she had lined up 😄

They got to chatting - and suddenly – they were both feeling much, much better!

Sean says, “The conversation just flowed so easily.“
Right away, he thought Bridget was incredibly smart, funny, cute and sweet. Sparks began to fly and before they knew it, they had spent HOURS yapping away, absolutely emersed in each other’s company.

Bridget of course, ended up running late for her bestie date at QPAC. Perhaps she has redeemed herself by marrying the man in question 😉

Geoff & White Lacey Girl - AKA Mrs McKew!

What a love story 😍 Geoff first laid his eyes on Keira during schoolies. He was sipping on vodka from a maccas cup, as you do… In the distance, he spotted students from his school boarding their Year 10 semi-formal cruise. A beautiful girl in a white lacey dress caught his eye. Geoff couldn’t take his eyes off her. He was so in awe, in fact, that in the years that followed, Geoff and his mates would bring her up occasionally, and she came to be known as “White Lacey Girl”.

Fast forward to 2019, and Geoff was about to head off on a snow trip to Canada - a highly anticipated long time dream for him - when suddenly, his friend had to cancel. Geoff was devastated. He reluctantly cancelled his trip, and joined 15 mates for the Foreshore Music Festival on Bribie Island in the hopes that it would cheer him up.

The boys were all catching up over a few drinks at their Airbnb when the universe sent him something that would cheer him up more than anything else on Earth possibly could! ENTER: White Lacey Girl.

The beautiful James and Michelle shared their first date at their fave coffee place, ☕️ Their connection was electric. And despite already running late for work, James walked Michelle to her car that day. He asked to see her again tomorrow. And the next day. 3 dates in 3 days. And these two haven’t left each other’s sides since 😍
