The beautiful James and Michelle shared their first date at their fave coffee place, ☕️ Their connection was electric. And despite already running late for work, James walked Michelle to her car that day. He asked to see her again tomorrow. And the next day. 3 dates in 3 days. And these two haven’t left each other’s sides since 😍

Shoutout to all the incredible vendors in this wonderful industry 🙌

As a relatively new Cele, I’m endlessly blown away by the generosity, support and kindness of my amazing industry colleagues!

I’ve been so fortunate to meet so many photographers, videographers, fellow celebrants, planners, venues, stylists, florists, musicians, caterers, content creators & hair and make up artists (I’m sure there’s more!) who have been epic team players!

Grateful for your teamwork at weddings, love on the gram, recommendations to couples, helpful advice & sharing of resources and content. I’ll never forget how generous my beautiful fellow celebrants were to offer a hand to deliver my ceremonies when my dad was in hospital. I see you & I’m so appreciative.

Their first date was a boozy karaoke night, which ended with a maccas run & a tipsy Emilia telling Dion she loves him 😁

Almost 4 years later, I was honoured to reveal their pregnancy to their beautiful family & friends at their wedding! It was EPIC and the best way to send them down the aisle as Mr & Mrs McCarthy 🙌

💥 Pointers for a powerful processional 💥

🎵 build suspense, baby - choose a killer song and let it play. We’re in no hurry 💁‍♀️

🎵 plan it to a tee - consider visibility, who is arriving, order of entry, walking pace & song choice

🎵 discuss hugs and handshakes in advance when you’re accompanied down the aisle

🎵 bouquets low and florals facing your guests

🎵 have your cele introduce you and your I Do Crew

🎵 consider whether your guests will be seated or standing (sorry photographers 😅 I’m all about the fully upstanding arrival!)

🎵 most of all - when you see your partner standing at the end of the aisle: pause for a few seconds, smile & take it in! This is it. You’re about to marry your soulmate 🥰

🎵 enjoy the s**z out of this once in a lifetime moment, it’s the BEST 🥹

Mr & Mrs Pollet. Proud Mum & Dad to Coco 🐶 met as a Baby Nurse & Baby Wardie at the ICU of GCUH, first “I love you”s on the Elsewhere balcony, big love for their fam and friends, insanely fun, and each other’s rock in this wonderful thing called life.

Housekeeping points to start your ceremony on a high 💃🏽

I share the initial housekeeping almost as soon as we kick off your ceremony, and these are always personalised to you and your special day.

Some common points that pop up across my ceremonies include:

💜 a fun little activity to elevate the vibe - like a quick guest selfie to send to you or your partner, or a cheer squad rehearsal

💜 announcing your unplugged ceremony

💜 introducing the vendors that your guests can see onsite - usually your tog, videog & live musician

💜 expectations around social media - this might be that guests hold off from posting until you’ve announced your big news or sharing your wedding day hashtag if you have one

💜 Informative - but make it fun 🥳
