We are having huge shows here in Rockhampton, lots of full houses, lots of happy people.

There hasn’t been a circus in Longreach for 8 years, so it was wonderful to come out here and entertain everybody. There were a lot of very appreciative people, and a lot of wide eyed children who’d never seen a circus before. I had a lot of special moments here.

I’m glad we came to Longreach.

For the last 2 weeks Grommet had his best friend Dodo here helping him with his clown/mechanic duties.

They did some oil changes, greased some bearings, threw cream pies at each other, the usual things.

We thought we’d be only living in dirt and dust while out here in central Queensland, but here in Blackall we were surprised by a nice green grassy field to show on, probably the nicest grass since we were in Gympie. 😍🎪🤡👍

That’s a wrap for Bowen. The circus is now moving on to Moranbah. I am however staying in Bowen to race in the Bowen Speedway, I’ve been practicing all week and I think I’ve found my calling.
