The circus rolls into town and a crazy world of tents and caravans and festoon lights is set up on a vacant lot. People come to see the show, families, children, old people made young again by the wonder of it all.
And then just as quickly as it arrived it is gone again.

Soon these yellow patches of grass will be green again, the ibis will pick up the last scraps of popcorn and there will be no sign at all that for 3 fabulous weeks there was magic happening here.

But hopefully in our hearts we will always remember. I know I will.

I’ve had a truly wonderful time on the Gold Coast this year. Thank you to all that came along and joined in on the fun.

Did you know in 2018 Hudsons Circus was the first travelling circus in Australia to host Autism/Sensory Friendly Shows and we are proud to continue to offer these shows in 2025. 💕 The first modified show this year is this Tuesday 7th January at 10am on the Gold Coast!

Things to know… ❤️

✨ This show is a modified 1 hour only show, it will have aerial and ground performers, animals, Goldie The Clown and for those that want to stay and watch the final act is motorbikes in the Globe of Death, but a warning is given prior the bikes starting for anyone who wishes to leave prior.
✨There is no intermission and less acts than the full show. Noises/sounds will be reduced and limited lighting effects.
✨ It will be General Admission seating so you can buy your tickets online now and when you arrive on the day and walk inside the Big Top you can choose where to sit in that seating area you have paid for.

The tent is right on the boundary line of the cricket oval here in Maryborough. I want to have a bat.

You can see the water bouncing off this guys baldy head. 😂

We are having huge shows here in Rockhampton, lots of full houses, lots of happy people.

Blackall or Blackall? Blackall the birthplace of Australian circus? Investigative reporter Goldie the Clown is on the ground in town to get the answers to these questions.

That’s a wrap for Bowen. The circus is now moving on to Moranbah. I am however staying in Bowen to race in the Bowen Speedway, I’ve been practicing all week and I think I’ve found my calling.
