Kids were having a sleepover at Aunties house because mum and dad were hitting the piss for a mates 40th.
12 hours straight drinking meant that old mate was keeping it lowkey.
Couldn’t get the candy canes up between the kids leaving and us leaving so mum had to brave it whilst fighting for her life the next morning. After waking up at 4:30am (without an alarm set), almost passing out a few times in the heat around 6:30am, having the most un-refreshing dip in the pool and a few visits to the porcelain bowl she got the job done just in time for the children to arrive home, get changed and head to a 4th birthday party. 4am - Saddle up Giddi, we’re going for a ride 😂
He wasn’t having a bar of it at first, he licked me so much to get me off him, I had to go take a shower. Even the teeth came out at the end but because I’m no quitter, that dog got saddled and the elf jumped on!

The side eye was a dead give away that he was nothing but pissed with this arrangement but he got the job done and there were lots of laughs when the children woke to see the nonsense, I mean, magic!

Kids loved the outfits he chose for them to wear for Giving Day at school and it was kinda obvious that he’d be asking them to clear out some of their things again this year. They’ve been very generous in previous years so I’m hoping they go for it again this year. He’s asked them to give a little earlier this year which is fab for me, I’m looking forward to tripping over less sh*t on the floor each day!
