I recently officiated a breathtaking ceremony for Ash and Nick at the stunning Rosewood Estate in Beechmont, QLD.

This hidden gem is a true masterpiece of nature and history. Perched high on the Lamington Plateau, Rosewood Estate offers views that left everyone in awe. Imagine exchanging vows with the Gold Coast skyline stretching from South Stradbroke to Coolangatta as your backdrop.

Ever wondered where the glamorous champagne tower tradition came from? 🥂

The champagne tower, a symbol of luxury and celebration, actually has its roots in the 17th century. It all started when the British began to produce stronger glasses. This breakthrough led to the creation of the now-iconic champagne coupe - that broad, shallow glass that became the preferred choice for champagne towers among the elite.

But there is a cheeky legend about these coupe glasses. It's said that the shape was molded from Marie Antoinette's left breast in the 1700s to celebrate her marriage to Louis XVI.

While historians debate the truth of this tale, it certainly adds some sparkle to the wedding champagne tradition.
