Some days the unexpected pops up — a late dress zip, a nervous groom, a storm cloud deciding to make an entrance.
That’s why I choose to officiate just one ceremony a day.
It gives me the freedom to slow the pace, hold space, and focus entirely on the two people standing in front of me.

There’s nothing quite like seeing a groom up at the altar trying to look cool while his nerves are doing cartwheels. I always keep my grooms tucked away until the very last moment — a quick chat, a deep breath, and suddenly the world feels a whole lot steadier. They get nervous too, and calming those jitters is something I take seriously (and lovingly).

And honestly… if you’re going to have butterflies, the Intercontinental Chapel is a pretty spectacular place to feel them. It’s breathtaking every single time.

From the start, Alex thought Samara had the most beautiful eyes… though he admits he fell for her dog Angus almost instantly. Samara’s first thought? “He’s very handsome. And… I guess he’s funny too.” 😄

Since then, their love story has revolved around what they love most: trying new foods, teaming up on co-op video games, and of course, their absolute pride and joy — Angus the English Bulldog. Everything they do gets run through the “but what about Angus?” test. 🐾

Fast-forward through world travels 🌍, laughter, visa battles, parenthood, and endless West Ham matches ⚽—these two have built a life full of joy, resilience, and connection.
